We called in here with our family after a windy trip to the beach in Church Bay. We were welcomed immediately and helped in with our pushchairs. The landlady was attentive and provided us with our choice of drinks. My son and son-in-law enjoyed a...game of pool. The only disappointment was that the quiz does not run in the winter months.More
After the longest short walk of my life we found this little gem of a pub with an absolutely amazing view from our seats to rest up and get a well earned pint down my neck!! staff were so helpful and the locals friendly and...welcoming, if your staying anywhere near or just passing through call in for a great pint of Guinness at a lovely pub you won’t be disappointed 👍🏻More
We visited the church inn last Sunday afternoon. We were staying just down into the bay so it was a 10 minute walk up the hill to the pub. The weather was lovely so we were able to sit outside with one of the best...views! The landlady was very welcoming and the pub was a great way to spend a Sunday afternoon! (they don't serve food).More
Stopped by the inn to have a pint in the beer garden. It has a fabulous view over the bay and to Holyhead watching the ferries go to and fro. If you're in the area it is a lovely place for a little stop and...rest and to admire the view. We sat outside but inside seemed comfortable and well refurbished, and there are big windows.More
Not having visited for a number of years we called in on a Sunday evening to watch the sunset in the hope that the place was stillnopen. Wow, what a transformation from a dark and dingy bar to a very tastefully refurbished space. The outside...seating areas were fabulous with stunnning views, and an excellent selection of beers. The place was very busy and the landlady was running the bar and waiting on tables 8n a pleasant manner. Toilets were modern and spotlessly clean. Welcome to the new owners, you have worked so hard, we wish you all the best. Definitely be returning soon.More
What a fabulous find ❤️ We've been waiting for this place to open and we weren't disappointed, it's really lovely. A refreshing change from the innumerable Robinsons pubs that seem to have taken over here on the island. The views from the spacious terrace are...stunning. The service is excellent and the real ales well cared for. All in all an absolute gem of a place.More
