Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Lovely little family run business, perfect if you wish to fuel up before a hike or need to refuel after! Brilliant food with something for everyone (I had something off the special menu - chips, chicken and stuffing baguette), staff were great with a particular...shoutout to the young man who served us and made sure our food was okay, very polite, friendly and welcoming. I'd recommend this place to anyone.More

Myself and my family had the pleasure of visiting this fantastic place for breakfast. The people here are very welcoming and friendly. We had breakfast and the food was just as good as the people who work here. My girls ( 11 & 15 )...were over the moon with their fluffy pancakes and Biscoff French toast. We can’t recommend it enough and we will be back next year when we climb Snowdon again. Thank you Caffi Gwynant team.More

This restaurant is fantastic for breakfast. The food is good, the service is friendly and efficient, all in a clean and welcoming atmosphere. Good coffee too! There is no rush to get you out so you can take your time. The portions are generous and...well planned. We will be going back as well worth while.More

We went for vegan options and were not disappointed. I had lovely spring rolls with coleslaw and salad, and my husband had a 'cheese' toasty with soup. The chef told us about the options not listed on the menu, and said they would be able...to modify most things if needed. We ate everything too quickly to be able to leave photos! Also a nice setting in an old chapel in Snowdonia. We're staying nearby in a little cottage and are looking forward to coming back to try the other options during our stay.More

Been here lots of times in the past while out walking. Different owners and different standard of care. We called in today after a long walk and looking forward to our usual coffee. Although still serving people food at their tables, when I asked if...we could just have 2 coffees the answer was a resounding NO we are closed. It was 3.50pm. We would have been happy with a take out coffee but again the answer was no. Obviously the people who were still eating would have been there longer than 10 minutes and I understand they didn't want to take food orders but would it really have been that much trouble to make 2 coffees. In g Future we will give our custom to the Prince Llewellyn in Beddgellert who even when really busy greet their customers with a warm welcome and great service. Caffi Gwynant only opens 4 days a week and you would think they would be glad of the custom. Obviously not!More

We were staying at the campsite next door and cam here a couple of times. In short, great food, at a fair price point, and great service. What's not to like. I'll be back next time I'm in the area.

Very disappointed. Cafe and kitchen needs a good clean. This place used to be my favourite cafe in North Wales but since the change of management it seems that they have swapped fresh ingredients for processed/frozen greasy food. It seems that most of the lovely...and friendly staff have left.More

Me and my 9 year old son visited the takeaway hut for some drinks and food to take with us on our walk. After I paid, the young lad was pressuring me to buy something else.. in particular a boost Chocolate bar. I kept saying...no and in the end he asked my son if he wanted Skittles so I just said okay and got them for him as this boy was not giving up with begging me to buy another item in a separate transaction. He said that would be £1 but didn’t show me the card machine so I stupidly trusted him and tapped my phone. Due to not having any signal/internet it wasn’t until the next morning that I saw £10 had been taken out of my account. I truly believe this has been done on purpose as I overheard him trying to sell the same boost chocolate bar to the couple in front. I have called and been promised a call back from the manager but they are now blanking me so I have had to report them and take it up with my bank. Not trustworthy and I have been scammed and stolen from, the boy has just got himself a tenner pocket money and is probably doing this to many tourists visiting so beware!More
