No bells and whistles just well kept beers and ales at reasonable prices. The beer garden always makes me smile having to sit next to the main road but thats all part of its charm!

After touring around the other pubs in the village myself and friends from overseas found this pub. It was a late call and we pretty much got the pub to ourselves but were treated with a great welcome by the young barman in charge. For...More

Not our sort of pub but ok if you want football on the flat screen. Didn't seem to offer proper meals but there was a sign for burgers.

We called in after a nice walk from Rhydd Du. Landlord got the fire going and we had good afternoon chatting with other visitors who popped in for a drink.

Spent a couple of evenings here having a pint and food on one evening.. Dogs are welcome so that was a plus. The barman was hard to describe. You never seemed to know if you were welcome or not and seemed to prefer the local...More

Popped in for a quick pint mid walk. Nice clean bar area. Decent Choice of beers and quick service- pretty much everything you'd want from a mountain pub!
