According to locals, in recent times this place has ‘upped its game’ culinary-wise, and indeed it has! We dined here on 3 successive afternoons while staying in Snowdonia and enjoyed every meal without exception. The particular advantage of this restaurant is that it serves meals...More

Excellent meal, except we ordered Crete brûlée which they said we could have put by for later, when we came to collect they had sold them all, most disappointed. Then when signing the bill they had charged for them as well. The surroundings were nice...More

Dined here for lunch and dinner over the weekend and cannot fault the place. Service was spot on, as was the food! We visit the Royal Oak every time we come to Snowdonia and are always impressed. Really cannot say much more. Highly recommended!!

Good up-market restaurant with "grill room" type menu. Not as expensive as I thought it would be (about GPB 20 per main course) and very good quality . Also lively and full of people, including locals

A busy Saturday night and we hadn't booked so we had to wait a while but enjoyed the local Welsh gin and Welsh beer while we did. Food was excellent. Well worth a visit. Thanks to the team for fitting us in.
