Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Stayed in the B&B for 3 nights and had a wonderful time. Emma and Menno are terrific hosts, very caring and proactive in making your stay a great one. Breakfast is top notch and it was a perfect spot to base myself for exploring Snowdonia,...including a walking trail to the pretty nearby Beddgelert, complete with rain gear kindly borrowed from Ty Mawr. Thanks again!More

After lunch at the pub, I fancied a dessert and was delighted to see the tea room open. I called in and asked for two slices of their ‘Dutch Apple Tart’ to take away. The owner, who was there with her husband responded, ‘Sorry, we...don’t have the capacity to do that!’ A somewhat bizarre reply, there was one other customer and I would have thought that placing two slices of tart into a paper bag or something similar, wouldn’t present too much of a challenge. I’ve eaten there a few times previously and have always enjoyed the food, despite being relatively small inside and with only two chairs outside, it has a pleasant ambience and thus I wouldn’t downgrade it simply because of this disappointment and I shall definitely return.More

I am glad you will be returning - we simply don't have any takeaway boxes etc and if I had put 2 slices of apple pie in a bag it would have collapsed and become a mess! Thanks for the review Kind regards Emma

We stayed at the b&b and the home made food was so delicious, we had for take some away. My other half wants to make a trip back just for the Baerabrith cake! Don’t leave without trying the coconut and lentil soup and the Speculaas....The tearoom has such a beautiful design and is set just at the foot of the mountain - in the most beautiful surroundings. The owners are so accommodating- don’t hesitate! Thoroughly recommend!More

I have stayed here many times over the last five years or so. This place is home from home with better cooking and cakes. The owners are helpful, thoughtful and practical. This time I stayed in the en suite room at the front for four...nights, I had a packed lunch made up each day (£5.50) extra. The place is simple, very clean and well priced. Snowdonia on your doorstep, what’s not to love? Thank you Emma and Menno. See you again soon 😁More
