I've visited Wrexham 3 times now, and each time I have enjoyed frequenting the Elihu Yale, I'm here now and some of the clientele are a bit iffy, but that's the norm nowadays, I have no minuses about this bar, the staff are run ragged...More

Visited yesterday on the way back from the Wrexham football match. Typical spoons, very busy but cheap and good quality food and drink. Will be returning next time I am in Wrexham

Typically busy Wetherspoons. No complaints about food or service... However this is the only Wetherspoon establishment we have visited where they refused to accept Scottish bank notes. We use Wetherspoon regularly both locally and on holiday,and this is our first negative experience.More

Hi thanks for your feedback. Unfortunately our town is regularly targeted by people with fake Scottish notes, (paper ones). These sterling notes are very rarely used in the area so although training is given the notes are that rare that we mostly get forged ones...More
