Thoroughly enjoyable food, very tasty. Chose the pork, was gorgeous, especially the chilli apple sauce. Ice creams, specially the Turkish delight and chocolate are fab.

We recently ate at the Lemon Tree and absolutely loved it. The service was fantastic, the starter amazing, the steak was cooked to perfection and nothing was too much trouble for them as with a little notice they even specially made my wife's favourite dessert as gluten-free for her birthday. We love this restaurant and recommend them to everyone.

Booked afternoon tea for 2 though Groupon. Booked for 4.15 on Friday afternoon. When booking we asked for sandwiches without dressings - no problem. Greeted by a very pleasant young lady who showed us to our table and brought glasses of bubbly, we took the option of buying the bottle for £8. Sandwiches were fresh and a nice choice, choice... Nice ambience, food beautifully presented, but not much of. Very tasty though. I had the beef noodle & soy sauce dressing. Sweet strawberry bakewell with clotted cream. Staff were very pleasant & efficient. Lunch time menu reasonably priced. :-)

Stayed here for an overnight stay at the weekend and found the place OK. Arrived for a 3 o clock check in time to find the room not ready, had to wait in the bar for a bit and have a drink which was no big hardship but did make me wonder how long it takes a place with only... More

My first visit to the lemon tree did not disappoint. OK the car park is a challenge to the less able drivers but that shouldn't detract from the dining experience. We were shown to our seats immediately even though we were 20 minutes early. Our chairs pulled out for us and a nice cold jug of water was placed in... More

We got a groupon deal for this place and the first impression was that the car park was appalling. We have an estate car and as the car park was full it took us a long time to inch round to turn back out of the car park because of the layout. There is also a very narrow passageway to... More
