We visited today for our lunch, the staff were immediately helpful and friendly. We were shown to our table by a very friendly smiley young lady! After giving us a little time to look over the menu she returned to take our order and explained that the food is cooked fresh so could take up to 20 mins! It came... More

You can beat freshly cooked food , and this is the place to visit ! Sunday roast to evening meal . Delicious new menu and the staff can't do enough for you! We recently had a friends birthday meal and the management had surprised us with a bottle of prosecco already waiting on the table for us when we arrived... More

We frequently eat here as dogs are welcome. Their burgers are excellent and presentation is good. Place is small downstairs which can get packed as it is popular for food but there is plenty of room upstairs. We've never waited too long for food. It's good to find somewhere in Brecon that welcomes our four legged friend.

Me and a friend were passing through and came across The bank purely by chance. Coming from London, we were immediately taken aback by the genuinely friendly welcome. The food was absolutely fantastic and the atmosphere very pleasant. The staff couldn't do enough. We're genuinely looking forward to visiting again

Ate here twice on a short hiking trip. Had the Tower burger one night and steak the following evening. Both were excellent, well cooked and nicely presented. The chips are some of the best chips in the UK probably better than Hawksmoor which boasts about its triple cooked ones. The staff were super friendly and helpful.

Several locals recommended this great place in the heart of Brecon. The menu is varied with local produce used. The staff are helpful and professional. I can see why it is worthy of recombination from the local comunity.

We called in here for lunch yesterday. We had winter vegetable soup, warm roll with Welsh butter. It was excellent, really tasty. My husband has an allergy and the waitress made sure with the kitchen that the soup was ok. The service was quick and friendly. It was very reasonably priced. We would definitely recommend.

They have done a fabulous job of renovation of the old Bank. We called in on a visit to Brecon for lunch. Nicely decorated with a modern feel. Food was very good, and a first class pint of real ale. Staff very helpful and polite. I can imagine it would get busy on the weekends. Give it a go it's... More
