We went in while I was doing some film work in this miserable unfriendly town, the Aroma cafe was a haven and offered a good selection of cakes. Like others without prior warning you get a whammie at the till, they don't take cards-who carries...More

This Coffee Shop is nicely decorated and it always seems spotlessly clean. The prices are a little expensive but you get what you pay for (almost) and it's always nice to relax and have a good old chinwag in lovely surroundings and to be fair...More

Hi Thanks for your review. We have investigated your review with the team, and it seems the waiting time was simply a result of an extremely busy day. Our food and drinks orders do not run concurrently (as most establishments), and serving them both at...More

A real jewel in the centre of town!! A pleasure to sit inside compared to other establishments in Bridgend.

Took my Mum here for lunch today. We had the Welsh Rarebit which was delicious and the coffee was good too.

Paying over three pounds for a hot chocolate that didn't come with cream or marshmallows and tasted like it had come out of a machine was ludicrous. Generous cake portion but there's no way I'll be going back. Staff were friendly though.

I thought this place would serve similar products to the aroma in Cowbridge but the coffee was awful. Thin, watery, tasteless, boiling hot flat white and pretty much the same with the cappucino. Disappointing, would not go here for coffee again.

Lots on the menu if you like cheese and bread! Not much for vegetarians at all. Very pricey. £33 for 2 bagettes, a toastie and a wrap with 4 soft drinks. Garnish non existent. "With chips" = 7! yes only 7! chips!!! Toilets very scruffy...More

Called here a fortnight ago. The property, ace has changed, and staff are not so friendly as they used to be. Cakes and coffee are totally overpriced. The cheese cake, although nice was small and expensive.
