Have eaten here many times over the years & have always enjoyed great service & great meals. Today was a little different though. No idea if the staff were overstretched or not but things didn't go as olanned. We were celebrating our mum's birthday. There...were 3 of us. One starter was incorrect but the staff rectified this quickly without complaint. Then, as a vegetarian, I ordered a vegetarian main, only to find I had a mouthful of chicken! Luckily I'm not a fanatical vegetarian so I wasn't about to have a meltdown. Again this was rectified immediately & a pudding thrown in (for one) to compensate. Tbf, the staff couldn't be any more apologetic than they were & I ended up feeling guilty!! I won't hold this against them & would still recommend this restaurant as a good place to visit.More
Firts time here after they have reopen & will definitely be returning. We went with family of 6 lunch time menu 2 course £15.95 & food was delicious, lovely welcoming staff
Went for my 35th birthday. It was delicious. There was such a wide range of choices! They even took alergens in to consideration which I think is amazing! The food was fresh and the wait wasn't too long. The waitress was upbeat and very polite...which is nice to see!More
Excellent restaurant. Food is very good along with the service. Good value, will recommend and will be back
Have eaten at Zia Nina for manyyears but today's birthday lunch was so disappointing. Most of our 4 meals were left uneaten and when asked by the waitress if anything was wrong we did explain we found the food bland, undercooked and tasteless. She referred...the comments to the owner/cook who replied that the food was as it should be. Very disappointing reaction and totally unacceptable customer service to a genuine complaint. We did pay the bill and left, never to return under any circumstances and we all agreed it was the worst meals we have ever been served at a restaurant!!!More
We arrived on a hot lunchtime with not a lot of time to spare. We were served without problem and really enjoyed our 2 course lunch. I would recommend as there is much choice. A very pleasant atmosphere, windows wide open so not stifling heat...at all. Given helpful tips about more convenient parking in the future too. Will definitely visit in the future.More
Fantastic meal as always three of us had sirloin and chips with various sauces and one chicken absolutely delicious. Desert also amazing. Would highly recommend. The atmosphere is warm and friendly we have been made to feel like part of the Zia Nina family by...Michael , James and Kirsten . It is also very good value for money. Thank you 😊 😊😊😊More
Fantastic evening out for our anniversary. Food was delicious as always, service was fantastic as always. The stairs to the upstairs and the new gin terrace are quite steep but that's literally the only thing I can find to mention that is in any way...negative. This place is a firm favourite. Would definitely recommend and will definitely return.More
Very good quality food at a good price with generous portions. Staff accommodating with beer on tap, nice little restaurant, will be back.
We ate here two nights running as we really enjoyed our first visit. We hadn’t booked either night but it was no problem, we were welcomed and shown straight to a table both nights. The service, ambiance and food were superb and the food good...value. Will definitely return when next in Bridgend.More
Cozy hidden secret lunch gem. Everything tastes fresh, tasty steak. Really good value for money. Friendly prompt service from staff
What a great experience. ⭐️ Myself, husband, sister and children visited the restaurant this evening including my 4 year old son that has a Milk and Soya allergy. Going out for food can be really stressful as my son normally has to miss out on...something or can’t have the same as his sister/cousins. Tonight was the first time that he was able to have a main and a desert that was suitable for him and off the menu. The staff were so helpful and the food was really good. We will definitely be back. What a lovely experience. Thank you so much. We have a very happy 4 year old 🤩More
Booked a large table for 11, service was very efficient and delicious food. Busy with a good atmosphere, would recommend.
It was our first visit to Zia Nina , and have been impressed . The setting was laid back , great service and the food was exceptional . The best Tiramisu I had since visiting Italy !
