Fairly quiet, ordered using app, drink delivered quickly but 1 Pizza took almost an hour. Chased order, promised it was coming, no apology, still took ages. Takeaways seemed a priority. Staff not friendly. Pizza was good when it arrived so that is worth 2 stars...but won't be coming back to this branch ever again . Tip order for delivery it will be quickerMore

Visited Zizzi in St David's Cardiff on a nice Sunday afternoon with my family and we were very disappointed. My partner had a pesto pasta and added chicken to it. The chicken was rubbery, the sauce was really thin, runny and tasteless. It was also...very hot in the middle and a little warm on the outside indicating that it was defrosted and microwaved. My 3 year old daughter had spag bol from the children's menu and it was very watery and was that bad she spat a few bits out. We told the waitress and she just completely dismissed what we had told her. If it wasn't for club card vouchers we wouldn't have paid full price. I will be telling people about my bad experience as I don't want them wasting their time and money.More

Amazing experience tonight at Zizzi’s, special shout out to Adela and another waitress I didn’t get the name of (she was mopping the toilets at the end) they were absolutely lovely and so attentive! Will definitely be coming again

Was told there was no pizza on arrival :( Went to order and then then they said there was no lasagna either! Food took well over an hour to arrive, which I wouldn’t have minded if it was a bit busier as I would understand...but there was only 3 other tables! Also to add, staff were rude and unwelcoming. I love Zizzi’s on the whole but would never come back to this one.More

Seafood pasta is delicious and the portion size was just right. Lovely and warm inside - a lovely end to a shopping day.

When we ordered 3 out of 4 drinks were incorrect - we were told there were no chips as sides but when my main course came - there were chips!! My main course was a real let down - sounded great on the menu but...it was like KFC - a piece of breaded chicken and chips with an egg-cupful of sauce. Sauce was delicious but not enough to cover third of the chicken.... sooo dry Then when we ordered 2 desserts they didnt have Tiramisu! so I didnt have a dessert as would feel awkward eating one alone..More

Visited with a Buy A Gift voucher which entitled us to two three course meals from a set menu. We waited 5 minutes or so to be seated on a Sunday evening when there was no more than 10 people in the restaurant. We also...required a Gluten Free version of the set menu which meant we needed to use the website to crossmatch what was included in the set menu to see what was GF. We then needed to order through the website. We asked one server about ordering Gluten Free and they didn't have a clue how we should do that... The food was excellent and the portions were generous for a set menu. The main issue came with the bill. We presented the voucher and we were then told the voucher only covered one set menu. Not what the voucher stated and we were being asked to pay the remainder. The server came back a few times to ask us to pay and then spoke to a colleague. They worked out that ordering through the website, coupled with the Gluten Free options did not take into account it was a set menu order. It would have been better if the staff used the old fashioned ordering method which tends to work much better. Especially with dietry requirements. It was resolved but we were made to feel like we were in the wrong. My advice would be if you have a voucher, ask to order in person to avoid any frustration. The food was excellent.More

My wife and I recently had the misfortune of eating dinner here on a Sunday evening. We had previously tried the ZIZI in high street but as that didn't have any pasta we came to this ZIZI. As a frequenter of ZIZI restaurants in various...locations I can say without question this is by far the worst, our starter of calamari was bland and chewy, my wife's risotto was claggy an she left most of it, my main of prawn linguini bland . Had to ask for pepper and parmesan and service was slow despite only another party of five been the other dine in customers. To summarise if you like ZiZi restaurants don’t bother using the ones in Cardiff.More
