Lezzet Turkish Kitchen - Cardiff

Visited this restaurant last night for the first time (14/11) during a recreational visit to Cardiff. Very welcoming staff, who politely and patiently went through the menu options and were very helpful in answering questions. The food was fabulous, so we will certainly be back...in the future. We had the mixed meze cold platter for starters and the sharing platter for two for main course. This gave us a good indication of options for future visits. Everything was delicious so highly recommend.More

Memorable and delicious...

An excellent welcome, and everything is done to make diners feel at ease. Ali goes out of his way to make everyone feel at home in the lovely restaurant! The starter was beautifully presented and exquisitely tasty, a good range of soft drinks allowed for...individual choice to complement the meal. The main course of vegetable casserole was tasty and went well with the rice (couscous was another option) though it seemed a little heavy on the tomato for my taste. I was not sure about having a dessert after such a sumptuous meal, but the solicitous staff made the choice easy, and I opted for something which suitably settled the stomach. In summary, this place is recommended!More

Gorgeous

This was the second time I have visited this restaurant and it was as good as I remembered. The food was delicious - probably the best garlic mushrooms I have ever tasted - with excellent portion size. The staff were incredibly friendly, professional and knowledgeable...about the food. The service was great. The atmosphere was relaxed and there was plenty of space around the tables. For the quality and of the food, the pricing was spot on! I would recommend a visit.More

Great Turkish Food

Tasty Turkish food

We came to Cardiff to watch Ludovico Einaudi -absolutely fabulous! Lezzet was where I’d chosen for my birthday / pre concert meal . The menu tempted me online and we were not disappointed. Beautifully presented food, extremely tasty . We spoke with the owner who...was charming. A restaurant in Liverpool would be great ;). The restaurant itself was in a great location and well presented inside. As we left it was getting quite busy. I would definitely recommend. I wish we had one nearer home. Attended with friends for lunch. Parked at John Lewis. 5 minutes walk. Nicely decorated. Not really busy. Not quickly attended to get drinks orders. The initial complimentary dip & bread was disappointing, very small & bland. Mixed shush very small, literally 3 chicken pieces &...3 lamb pieces. Not enough for big appetite. Lamb shank nice. Turkish tea was I think complimentary. Baklava was shockingly stingy 3 pieces only. I was disappointed with entire experience despite the expensive bill. I would not come again.More
