Great place for a pre dinner drink. Good wines, friendly staff. Great window seats for people watching. Prices reasonable for the centre of Cardiff.

We nearly walked past this place as we thought it was 'just' a wine bar. How glad am I that we stopped and noticed the menu. The owner was there and told us that if we did not like it we would not have to...pay. I love a challenge so we went in. Lovely cocktail to start and the best bruschetta we have ever had. Both had pasta which was amazing, so we did have to pay for it! So good that we went back again the next night. Shame that it is not clear that they do food as I am sure that more people would go and eat if they knew it was a restaurant.More

Very friendly italian staff. We ended here as all restaurants we tried to eat were already close and it was 9PM. We had the charcuterie platter for 2, a very nice portion. Manchego great. I believe there provolone pieces they were amazing. The salami selection...was very nice as well. We also order the diavola pizza. The pizza bread was very tasty. Slightly thicker in the border but tasting really nice. I really liked the decor of the place with some venetian masks and mirrors at the walls.More

They’ve got this place just right; it feels like a ‘local’ Italian but is centrally located. Reasonably priced, friendly staff - what’s not to like.

Was in Wales for a long weekend & went here for tapas & wine. 2 bottles later we left. Great night. Full of laughter & made some new friends. Very warm & friendless Italian bar.

Recently visited Prego Wine Bar prior to a gig at St David's Hall. Just had cocktails but were delicious. A number of Italians drinking in there too, which I took as a stamp of approval. Nice atmosphere and friendly staff.

Stopped in for lunch with a friend and had a wonderful experience. The staff couldn't do enough for us, the food was delicious and all arrived promptly. Will definitely be returning

Incredible wine bar. We stopped by initially for a few drinks but decided to have some food, and very glad we did! The staff were all lovely, especially our waitress who was very knowledgeable of both the food and wine menu.

Came here for drinks with friends and have experienced the best service. Fantastic wine from the family vineyard in Naples. We particularly like the Calu. Lovely dry white.
