Was very quiet when we first arrived and we were told a large party were eating later. Our set Christmas menu from start to finish was fantastic. The main Christmas lunch was plentiful with a huge amount of fresh vegetables and all the trimmings.Dessert was a gigantic portion of... More

They do an excellent Sunday carvery but it does get very busy and my advice is to go early and then you won't be disappointed and the carvery is excellent value for money.

Popped in mid shopping trip. Got a couple of odd looks off the staff there, followed by being ignored. Place hadn't long opened for lunch and was very quiet. Plenty of seats available, a number however were ripped/damaged. Sat down, couldn't find a menu. After 2 mins of being ignored myself and wife decided to leave. Won't be back.

Had our meals from the 2 for £9.99 very nice food with real chips. Good value for money. Typical pub grub. We seemed to be only people eating so food was served quick by a nice gentleman. Food hot. Only downside is the pub smelled of cigarette smoke from the dart players going back and forth through the side door... More

Called in on our way home from a busy day shopping. Wish we'd never bothered. Our meals had to be sent back because they were cold and when they did arrive back the food was very disappointing. The ribs were all bone and no meat and the chicken was over cooked and dry. My son had a burger that he... More
