Fantastic Night Out!

First visit and not disappointed, the live music was great and it was a cracking start to the festive season with good company, food, and cocktails!

Great vibes

Amazing venue with great live music. Bouncers and bar staff were top notch. Had an amazing night surrounded by beautiful people. Great vibes!

Powered Wheelchair/ Accessibility Review of Drinks at Live Lounge, Cardiff (Daytime)

The next pub in my Wheelchair Accessibility Review pub crawl of Cardiff was "The Live Lounge". Entrance was flat in and inside was spacious. No access for me in my wheelchair to the upstairs area tho or to the downstairs booths on the right hand...side (up a single step) but plenty of other tables inside. Outside seating was excellent with lots of tables and spacious for me in my powered wheelchair. Prices of drinks were very reasonable... the cheapest so far :) The disabled toilet was good but you have to ask a staff member to open it with an electronic fob. This place has always been known for it's great live music all day and night and there was an excellent solo singer/guitarist during our visit. Our visit was in the afternoon but come evening/ night time the inside tables are put away and the place transforms into a crazy jam packed nightclub with live bands which could be more problematic for my powered wheelchair 😂 Overall a great no frills place for cheap drinks and live music with excellent outside seating, only 50% accessible for me 😐 but going upstairs might bring back those dodgy memories of 3am drinking sessions before my wheelchair days 😂♿🍺More

Bouncer looking out for my daughter 👌

Would just like to thank the bouncer who looked out for my daughter in the early hours of this morning. She’s only 18 and was unable to get an Uber and had been waiting for an hour before I picked her up. The bouncer made...sure she wasn’t leaving alone, checked she was ok, offered her his coat and even walked her to my car when I got there to pick her up. Very much appreciated and nice to know there are some decent people out there looking out for our kids 😊 thanks again 👌More

Take out food

My son and I just had the best pasta to take away and eat at home from here. It was delicious, fresh and full of flavour. They even gave us garlic bread and Parmesan cheese to go with it.

a damn good venue!

with experiencing both sides of the dancefloor, both being on it and on the stage. We can honestly say its a fantastic venue as a performer with the owner and staff looking after any needs along with watering and feeding us! (amazing pizza after a...gig btw!) and to be on the dancefloor watching a great selection of bands, a great atmosphere!More

Best live music bar in Cardiff.

Always a great vibe, with amazing bands and artists performing. Really like going here when the rugby is on, with all the TV screens, great offers and extensive selection of drinks! Well done Team Live Lounge, always recommend your venue, keep up the good work!...:-)More

Good music, good food and wine. Good people. Good Times!

Amazing place

One of my favourite places in Cardiff - it really has it all. Fantastic live music all day with a mix of solo musicians, duos and bands and then a DJ later on in the night (until 4am!). There's such a diverse crowd of young,...old and everybody in between which just shows how much this place has something for everybody. Everyone always seems to be happy and enjoying themselves here (including the bar staff!). I've eaten here a few times as well and the food is really good, with very generous portions at very affordable prices. If you're in Cardiff, you definitely have to visit this place!More

Best live music venue in town

Always a good atmosphere with great food and incredible staff. The live music is all day every day and the musicians are all amazing. Highly recommended!

Wow, what a place!

Went with a couple of mates and had a fab few hours in the place. The live singer was surprisingly good and this contributed to the lively atmosphere. Large choice of beers and food too (had the pulled pork baguette with wedges) at very reasonable...cost. Will def be back again!More
