We were having an evening meal with a family of 3 and tried different starters and mains. It was all soooo good and we would have come back also the next day but unfortunately that day it was closed. We went there very spontaneously on...the way back from a day tour so we didn't reserve any table. Luckily we got a seat as it was such a great food experience. All dishes were perfectly prepared and served. The owner and also the staff was very lovely and friendly. We can really fully recommend the restaurant.More

Once again I can’t speak highly enough of the quality and high standards set at the crispy duck . We had a family supper here and we all said how delicious the food is . Food are amazing, especially Malaysian curry chicken remind me to my old times where I took a trip to Malaysia few years back.

Never one to right a review but this was so disappointing I felt I should.Ordered the Crispy Shredded Beef and egg fried rice. The rice was very nice (but was cold) but the beef was almost non existent. It tasted like batter and was quite...sickly to eat. I hesitantly told a waiter it didn’t taste nice and I was told “it has to be like that to make it crispy ,it’s the most popular on the menu” and he proceeded to walk away. I attempted to speak to another waiter about this and was told “oh sorry” and he also walked away. Also the same waiter picked up my last prawn cracker with his hands from the bowl and put it on my plate,a bit gross to say the least? Because I never complain I didn’t know what to do next so I paid and left. Won’t be returning.More

Yum yum yum. What you get is what you pay for. Staff extremely friendly and helpful. Food was absolutely brilliant. I thoroughly recommend a trip here if you visit Cardiff

We haven’t left a review for quite some time. Probably quite a few years ago. However, we’ve been coming here for over 10 years and thought it only fair to write another. It’s 10 years because it’s such a great place. The food is, in...our opinion, the best in Cardiff. Always consistent with the presentation and quality. We’ve probably been here over 100 times at least, probably much much more as it can be a weekly event at times. The staff are fabulous and they really know their stuff and always very accommodating. The owner is very pleasant and chats to us every time we visit, making us feel valued. The dishes we tend to have as starters are maki sushi, spring rolls and more recently, the salt and pepper spare ribs. We’ve had the maki in other places, but nothing compares to here. I really love the spare ribs!!! For the main, I have the lemon chicken and my wife has more varied taste than me, so she may go for the black bean chicken for example. Always full of flavour and presented so well. We intend to book again really soon as I really do miss the food and the good company of the owner and staff. We really do recommend this restaurant and you won’t be disappointed. Oh, we also bring my elderly mother here on occasion. A 40 mile round trip to pick her up but she loves it 👍More

We’ve been many times to the crispy duck and once again I have to say superb food and service . Great ambience and we see regulars coming in and Eric the owner always greets them . By the way to the person who said the...pancakes of the crispy duck he ordered weren’t crispy, pancakes aren’t crispy but the duck inside is . If pancakes were crispy it wouldn’t be possible to roll them !! . Well all I’ll say is we love it as do many other people . Well done Eric and the team !More
