Visited this restaurant, food was decent but not worth the money and the staff seemed ok. But the place is a mess. All floors were sticky and filthy, the stairs to go down to the bathrooms felt as if they were going to collapse under...you and the bathrooms its self...... Well, there are about 4 stalls (unisex, which is fine) bit floors are filthy, toilets didnt want to flush, and no water in the taps. I went to wash my hands and the water ran for about 2 seconds then nothing. Ive been to many restaurants and bathroom in the past, this by far is the worst. Me and my dad are never coming back to this place!!More

My son & i regularly visted pre covid & now that things are relaxed we'll do so again. Love the pies/the meal. Perhaps not the most comfortable seating but it's quirky & looks clean. On this vist service was perhaps a little slow to take...our order but pies were served quickly. Shame the onion rings & those crispy shallots are no longer available but the addition of garden peas was great. Not a huge meal but satisfying & with 1 drink came to around £31 for 2 of us so not cheap for pie & mash with few trimmings. Parking is a distance away or very expensive close by in one of those rip off places. Will we vist again, yes, absolutley we will.More

Meal was delicious, and was pleasantly surprised to discover the minty peas are now GF also. Service was quick and portion was plenty. Only downside was that there was only one suitable Gluten Free pie, as the GF Moo contains (Gluten Free) Barley! Although many...of the sides were also suitable.More

We had a great time enjoying a bottomless brunch. Not a huge choice of pies for the brunch, but the ones we had were absolutely delicious. Obviously, the bottomless Prosecco went down very well too. We were looked after by Will, who did a great...job and it didn’t show he had only been on the role for a week. Great service, great value and a whole lot of fun.More

We came here on a busy Saturday with a game on and a lot of places were booked up but noticed they were quiet so we decided to dine here. We were seen to straight away and told how table service, COVID rules etc worked....Our food was served quickly and definitely worth the price, we had a few extra add ons and everything was served hot and flavourful. My only reason for the low score was we waited over 15 minutes to pay for our food. Someone came to take our plates and ask if we wanted dessert and we told him no thanks, just the bill and he said no problem, he then went on break and eat his sandwiches at a table next to us. We sat there and just waited while the other waitress chatted to the chef, there was only 2 other tables there and after 20 minutes I went up and asked if I could have the bill and pay by card, we then waited another 5 minutes and finally got seen to. Fair enough if it was a busy day but it was so quiet and it was so awkward just sitting there and with only being allowed table service we were unsure of how to proceedMore

Orederd pie mash and peas from here ..came cold and pie was thrown on top of cold mash which meant scraping mash off bottom of cardboard box !!! As for gravy under half a tub literally the stingiest gravy received rather a full small tub...then empty big tub meat in pie was plenty and nice taste but for the money which wasn't cheap horrendous. Didn't enjoy spoilt by the cold mash and scraping presentation awful. If it was a fiver I wouldn't have left review but for 12 pound it's unnaceptable and definatwouldnt eat from here again or recommend .. pie and chips from chippy not spots off this and that's my honest personal experience from here .More

Hi Lovell69, We're really sorry you've had a poor experience with your delivery. All of our food is cooked to/kept at high temperatures so I'm unsure how this cold meal has managed to happen, I will pick this up with the delivery platform and my...More

Came here for a late lunch with my toddler and friend. I was unsure whether we'd find somewhere that would be suitable for a child on St Mary Street but I am so glad we gave Pieminister a chance! The service was amazing, the waiter...Tom was attentive and explained the menu to us and even gave recommendations for what my son might like. The food was incredible and arrived quickly. We left feeling happy and satisfied. Will be recommending Pieminister to my friends and family and will be sure to return soon :)More

You can only book for 6 or more, just turn up if less, quite a quick turnaround, despite what the management may say so stick around (trust what the waitresses say)
