This cafe has declined it's so cosy and welcoming, but staff sitting outside smoking very off putting, food very bland and cakes used tobe delicious but no longer. I have to add that the toilets were far from their usual standards and unclean

Found this cafe in the woods whilst out walking. Tasty food and a friendly welcome. You can access the cafe via the road and there is a small car park for those who don’t trek through the woods.

This statement, said as an enormous pot of tea arrived (for one) sums up this little gem. No posh, but great for dogs, walkers, any age from tots to seniors. Always a warm welcome with several log fires on go, even outside sometimes.

It was lovely to find a new café near to us. We visited on a sunny Sunday for lunch and enjoyed sitting outside with our very reasonably priced toasties and drinks. The peacock was determined to put on a full display of feathers to entertain...More
