Very pleasant surroundings. Comfortable and clean inside. We ordered food. It came quickly. But in my opinion the portions were perhaps too measured. Either get smaller plates or just increase the chips on the plate to make it look like an adults meal! I probably...More

I visited with some family and friends on a bank holiday weekend. It was understandably busy and there was a long queue inside. The bar staff were shouting at customers to come down to the next available barmaid/man but this wasn’t in a friendly tone...More

So unwelcoming, NOT pet friendly, will not return. We visited with family for a quick drink taking along our cavapoo pup. NOT dog friendly, very rude and awkward. Limited drinks which I understand but rude and abrupt when telling us this. Staff were so unfriendly,...More

Since the new management have arrived the service and reception is dreadful. The landlord/ manager was very rude, miserable and moody. Not friendly at all. We will not be going there Again.

There are drinks menus which explain all the drinks. Sorry but we cannot explain the ins and outs when we are VERY busy. I have checked with the bar staff and maybe the voice was raised because we were busy. As you can see we...More

My partner and I decided on this place as it is in a slightly less busy area than the main food courts and thought quality would be better than the usual chains, should have walked on by. It was bank holiday Monday when we visited...More

It’s a great location on Cardiff bay but I found it a poor pub. It was quite bland inside and as a Sam Smiths pub, no real range of beer to choose from. They didn’t even have a beer on hand pump - can’t remember...More

The visit started badly and deteriorated steadily! Staff couldn’t manage the card reader, wine cooler or accurately record our order. Some of the most slap dash customer service I’ve endured in years. Starters arrived with mains - 1 of 4 mains was left off the...More

It was casual, British specialties. I had a cheese and onion pie, something like that. There was a good variety.
