From the moment we went to a wedding Fayre at De Courceys Manor in January 2018, the place felt completely different to all the other venues we’d looked at. The manor itself is just gorgeous in every way, perfect for our winter wedding but what made DCM completely different was how we were treated from the moment we met Lewis. Instead of just being another couple, Lewis, Abi and the whole team really made an effort to get to know Paul and I, find out the type of couple we are and what we were looking for from our wedding. There was no pre set packages that we had to fit into, it was all about us and how DCM could create a perfect, unforgettable day that reflected us as a couple.
Lewis has the best sense of humour and we instantly felt comfortable, like we’d known him forever. This continued throughout the planning and prep, Lewis and Abi were on hand whenever we had questions or wanted to pop in and they were absolutely the reason we booked with DCM above all else.
Throughout the process we were supported, guided and advised and ultimately, DCM could not have done enough for us, they created the most incredible, perfect wedding day which ran like a dream. Nothing was too much trouble and every little detail was taken care of for us.
We got married on 21st December 2019 and although it was close to Christmas which is one of their busiest times, on the day, everything was turned round so quickly with the team delivering a 5 star service. During the wedding breakfast, food service ran like clockwork with everything coming out to guests without a hitch. The food is one thing we have to highlight, simply incredible from start to finish, our guests haven’t stopped talking about it!
We also were able to stay at the venue the night before and they accommodated guests who were travelling down even though they had a Christmas party on which we were so grateful for. We also have to give a huge thank you to Mary, Nicola and all the staff who worked during our day, they treated us like princes and it was a complete honour to share the day with them.
We cannot thank DCM enough, from the bottom of our hearts, we are so grateful for everything they’ve done, the day was a complete dream come true and it’s really no wonder that this magical venue has so many awards, you really cannot get better. Our guests have said how wonderful the venue was with many saying it’s the best wedding they’ve ever been to from a decor, service and food point of view. De Courceys are first class in every way and we couldn’t be happier, the memories we’ve made are so special and it’s all thanks to them.
If you’re considering venues for your wedding, you will not find a more accommodating, special place than this, we can’t wait to return to see the team in the future and see the exciting new extension they have planned.

We recently chose DeCourceys for our small winter wedding and it was undoubtedly the best wedding venue we could have chosen. From the first visit where Lewis showed us around the venue to leaving the morning after our wedding, the venue and staff were perfect the entire time. Abi and Lewis were always on hand in the run up to the wedding to answer any questions we had, they were so flexible in tailoring the winter wedding package to us and we always felt so reassured and secure in their expert hands. We met with Abi for our pre wedding consultation and she was just incredible, nothing felt like too much trouble, she offered us great advice and reassurance and is clearly very talented at what she does.
On the day, the service staff were fantastic, lots of our guests have commented on how amazing they were and that they are the best venue staff they've come across. The food is absolutely to die for and it was brilliant to able to give our guests so much choice and to know each course was going to be absolutely delicious.
My husband and his party really appreciated the drinks to settle their nerves on arrival too!
We want to thank all the staff involved in the fantastic running of DeCourceys and can't recommend the venue enough. Their combination of affordability, flexibility, personalisation, incredible food, warm hospitality and talented staff is truly exceptional and they deserve every award!

We wanted to thank you so incredibly much for all of the help you gave us to make our dream wedding day come to life. From our initial consultation with Lewis, we knew the venue and staff were the perfect fit for us.
During the pandemic, you were so reassuring and unbelievably helpful when we decided to postpone the wedding for a year in the hope we could have the wedding we originally had planned. Booking the same date a year later was no problem at all and you truly put our mind at ease and eliminated any stress we were feeling.
Thank you so much for being so patient with my many, many questions over the past 2 years as the bride, the whole experience was so smooth and enjoyable in the lead up to the big day due to your calm, helpful responses.
The big day was the best day of our lives, we had the most amazing time and everything looked so perfect. The staff were incredible - a huge thank you to Abigail for taking us through the day step by step, we didn't have to think about anything which was exactly what we needed!
The staff were so unbelievably attentive on the day and the food was incredible, all of our guests commented on how much they enjoyed it, and how amazing and helpful the staff were throughout the course of the day - they even helped my mum find a charger for her phone when the battery died after taking millions of photos!
We could not have asked for any more, everyone really did go above and beyond for us, and we know that De Courceys was absolutely the right choice for us. We all needed to let our hair down after a tricky couple of years, and we certainly did that!
So thank you so much for making our wedding day better than we could ever have hoped for.

I would like to say a MASSIVE thank you to Rachel, Lewis and all of the De Courceys team for making our dream wedding come true. It truly was the best day!
They have been nothing but supportive through this crazy time, any questions or any requests were always answered and catered for. The whole day was a dream - they work so hard to ensure that everything is perfect!
The pamper suite was lush, venue perfect and the food out of this world (compliments to the chef) - Everyone commented on how amazing the staff were.
From our first visit to booking then changing the date to the actual day was a dream! Highly recommended!

We celebrated my mothers 60th birthday but having a Sunday lunch at De Courceys.
We were all very impressed. The venue itself was beautiful. The service was excellent from every member of staff and the food was also delicious. Everyone was very happy with each of their 3 courses. They were also very GF friendly - the GF bread was very good and they also had GF croutons in the soup (which was a bonus and we don't see very often).
It has a very nice relaxed vibe (I think they only do one sitting) and we didn't feel rushed at any point.
We will certainly return for a Sunday Lunch again!

Attended a Christmas party here, was not served the correct food. I informed one of the young male servers and he told me that there were the correct numbers of soup on the table, some guests couldnt remember what they had ordered ( nothing to say names and orders on the table just a list of how many of each had been ordered. As a result I did not get what I wanted and had ordered as other people had the starters just placed in front of them and started eating them!
Food however was good just not enough veg with the mains and portion size could of been a bit bigger,service was in my opinion, awful. Some examples of this were leaning over to get glasses, cutlery, plates practically dropped on to the table…
Seemed very inexperienced to be dealing with large groups of people.
Also staff were in a rush to clear tables we were not allowed to keep the cheese they cleared it, didn’t get a coffee as they came around once and then disappeared.
Venue was also freezing in the corridors and toilets.
Beautiful venue, service at the table was very poor.
Bar staff friendly and efficient.
Probably won’t return.

Firstly, please accept my sincere apologies that your recent experience with us did not meet our exceptionally high standards.
All our Christmas bookings receive our menus well in advance, to give the group organiser plenty of time to collect food choices and take note of what each guest is eating. There was also a A4 menu card with everyone’s choices placed on each table. (I know this as I was the person to distribute these)
On the evening in question a large percentage of my staff members were unable to work due to either COVID or flu…a situation that was, sadly, completely out of my hands.
In addition, the outside temperature was around -3, so although we have had the heating on constant, it is difficult to keep the corridors warm when the main door is opened with guests coming and going.
I am sure you will see from our previous reviews, that we take immense pride in our food and our service, so your comments will be taken on board, and we will strive to improve wherever we can.

Stayed here for family wedding. The whole experience was wonderful from start to finish. Food, drinks, atmosphere and especially staff, who couldn't do enough to help with anything we asked. We stayed in 2 of the cottages which were clean, so comfortable and had everything we needed. Breakfast was plentiful and tasty, food at the wedding was delicious. Cannot recommend the venue and the staff highly enough.

What an amazing venue for my party. We had 47 guests including 2 children.
Abigail and Lewis were extremely helpful with the planning. I chose a Sunday Lunch. The choices were really good, a number of my guests came back saying their mouths were watering just reading the options.
On the day the venue was beautifully prepared just as we'd agreed. The chef came out to meet us and we loved his passion and pride in his food. It was justified. The food was delicious, and plentiful. Everyone was very complimentary about the whole afternoon.
One of our guests sent me a message to pass on:
‘If you’re feeding back to De Courcy’s can you say the staff were superb. Polite, efficient, unobtrusive and very helpful. They are a credit to them’
I cannot praise Abigail and the team highly enough. It was a day to remember and I would recommend anyone to book with De Courceys for a special event. And we will certainly return for a Sunday lunch there soon.

We got married here 25 years ago, and take the opportunity to revisit whenever we can to eat there.
We went for Sunday lunch on 4th December and it was outstanding.
The service is attentive and friendly, and the food was delicious with good portions.
Scrupulously clean everywhere, and a beautiful, classy setting.

WOW!! That sums up our wedding day and experience with De Courcey’s Manor.
Myself and my now husband got married at De Courcey’s on 3.6.23.
The whole experience from when we viewed the venue in July 2021 all the way to our wedding date, De Courcey’s have been absolutely fantastic in every way.
Lewis and Abigail were our main contacts and were always happy to answer our questions and reassure us when needed.
The wedding day itself was seamless from start to finish. The co-ordination, the arrangements and service from all staff was amazing.
One of the most important things about the day, the food! The food was delicious, from the canapés, to the wedding breakfast and the evening buffet. We are big foodies and De Courcey’s exceeded our expectations with the quality and quantity of the food. Guests were also very impressed with the quality of the food.
So many of our friends and family have made comments about how staff were so attentive and accommodating to all guests.
The Prep and pamper room was really enjoyable and such a relaxing pre-wedding evening and wedding day morning. It was lovely to have Prosecco whilst in the hot tub listening to some music and relaxing. Beds were all comfortable, great facilities, and breakfast in the morning was delicious.
Thank you so much for making our wedding day the best day of our lives!

We got married in De Courceys Manor on Easter Monday 2022 and can honestly say it was the best day of our lives.
We first visited the Manor back in December 2018 and fell in love with venue straight away, it was so welcoming and beautiful. Meeting with Abi that day again she made us feel so welcome & special. We had visited a few venues prior to this and the difference was worlds apart, De Courceys is a truly amazing venue.
Then unfortunately covid hit us early 2020. We had no choice but to postpone as we were in full lockdown. The team were amazing, even in the most uncertain of times they were able to answer all our questions and concerns promptly. We then postponed a second time due to the ongoing restrictions and again the team were so helpful, helping us to book a new date. All our worries were always eased. Abigail, Rachel and Lewis were always very professional, understanding and always made every effort to ensure the stress was taken off of our shoulders during these times.
We finally got married this week. Myself and my bridesmaids stayed the night before in the pamper and prep suit and what a beautiful addition it was. We all said how comfortable it was and all had the best sleep. Then the Monday morning was so lovey to get ready in there, we had a lovely continental breakfast brought over of which there was plenty of delicious food. Being able to stay the night before helped make for an incredible experience.
The wedding day itself was absolutely perfect, the team at De Courceys are all incredible people & excel at what they do. We both couldn’t have wished for a more beautiful day. The food here is the most delicious we have been fortunate to have tasted. Everything was so smooth from the room transitions to the small touches.
The magic and beauty of De Courceys brought to life by all of the staff here really needs to be experienced as no reviews can truly do it justice. This was a day that was just so perfect and four days later we still feel like we are floating on clouds.

What a venue!!!!
My husband and I found De Courcey’s by luck in 2019 when attending a wedding fayre, up until then we didn’t even know about this absolute gem of a place.
The minute we walked through the doors we fell in love, such a homely yet stylish venue and we were quite set that this was the venue for us. Upon speaking with Abi who was so welcoming and friendly we knew 100% that we wanted our special day here.
We were initially due to get married in 2020 however, multiple postponements later, we finally had our day on 23rd April 2022 and it was definitely worth the wait. Throughout the postponements the team at De Courcey’s were really understanding and I can’t thank them enough for that.
Abi was our main point of contact and was brilliant. She made the whole planning process feel so easy. Everyone who we had contact with (Abi, Rachel and Lewis) were nothing short of amazing. For every phone call, email and appointment nothing was ever too much. They are such a friendly team and they made the lead up to the wedding completely stress free.
The day went without a hitch! Nicola, Challis and the rest of the team (sorry I didn’t get everyone’s names) were fab and such lovely people! Nicola ensured everything ran smoothly and to schedule and the service provided was second to none. The food was to die for and I can say for sure that no one left our wedding breakfast hungry. We’ve had nothing but compliments from our guests on everything, the food, the venue and the staff. We’ve even had guests say it was the best wedding they’ve been to!
Every single detail is covered. We honestly could not have asked for a more perfect or better wedding day.
Thank you so much to everyone at De Courcey’s who was involved in making our day so perfect!
If you are looking for a phenomenal service, an absolutely stunning venue and a team of really great people who are so passionate about what they do and care about delivering your beautiful day then get booking, I promise you won’t be disappointed!

My whole family would to give a huge thank you to Rachel, Lewis, Abi and all the staff for a fantastic wedding weekend for our stunning daughter, everything about this venue and more importantly the staff is FIVE STAR. They absolutely catered for just about everything and nothing was too much trouble. The venue itself is definitely five star set within its own grounds it is the most picturesque wedding venue and in addition it has rooms and apartments to accommodate not only the bride & groom, family but also 7 detached bungalows. Everything is spotlessly clean and the food is outstanding, we will never forget not only our fabulous wedding but also this venue and the all round service provided by Rachel and all her staff, so on behalf of my wife and I would like to give our heartfelt thanks to everyone concerned and we would definitely recommend this venue. Thank you once again, Graham & Val.

We visited De Courceys for a Sunday lunch. We were well received. The bar is lovely with smiling faces happy to serve. Our order was taken at the bar. We were taken to our table. A very elegant set up of the dining room. Warm bread of different flavours served. Starters soon after arrived and drink orders did too. Then we had the main course. All food was hot and served promptly. Desserts followed. Amazing and prompt service with smiling faces. Very nice highly recommended if you like a relaxing Sunday lunch with lovely views.

What a venue!
My now wife and I had originally booked our wedding to take place on 31/05/2020. Little did we know there was a pandemic around the corner which threw everything up in the air!
However, the team at Decourceys were so incredible when it came to us having to postpone on not 1 but 3 occasions. Every time we decided to postpone due to guest limitations etc, they were so accommodating and understanding.
Fast forward just over 2 years and we finally got our big day on 31/08/2022, and what a day it was! From start the finish the day was incredible, it could not have gone any better!
Lewis, Abigail and the team could not do enough for us or our guest and were always on hand when needed. Each and every one of our guests have said how much they loved the venue and not a bad word was said.
The food served for the wedding breakfast, the evening buffet and the breakfast the following morning was stunning! Everyone also thoroughly enjoyed the cocktails made for our ‘cocktail hour’.
What else can I say apart from thank you! Our day was everything we had dreamt of and more. You won’t find a better place in this area to host a wedding!
