After being told that the wait for a take away would be 45 mins we were more than happy to wait given our long term order relationship with this particular curry house, despite being warned that service had been disappointing recently.. After waiting over an hour and a half our food arrived, we paid and the driver promptly drove off,... More

I have been a regular customer for some years. I can appreciate when a restaurant is busy and the need to wait for an order, to which I accept when ordering on a weekend. When I order, I must stress that I always ask them to repeat the order due to the many times I've received an incorrect or an... More

Took a chance, not knowing anything about this place. Looked clean and tidy through the windows and menu looked enticing. Food was absolutely sublime, generous portions, spot-on flavours and open kitchen means you can see how they prep and cook your food. Whilst we were the only two in the restaurant (early evening) it was obvious that this place is... More

We visited the Balti Wallah in late September for a friends stag do. Having been tasked with arranging the food, this was the first place that I tried that actually answered the phone. They were incredibly helpful and had no qualms about accepting a stag party. When we arrived, we were seated very quickly, with a drinks order being taken... More

This was our second visit to the Balti Wallah and yet again the food and welcome from the staff were fantastic. All of the food was delicious -my Chicken Tikka bhiryani was perfect and my wife really enjoyed her tandoori mixed grill. The Balti Wallah has an open kitchen and so you can see that everything is freshly cooked in front of... I dropped into the Balti Wallah tonight for a takeaway. I didn't have time for a sit down meal. However the food was as good as ever, prawn madras and egg pilau rice. The head chef was hard at work and he really makes the food what it is which is unique and really tasty. The staff are friendly and... More

Service INSANELY slow given that our table of two was one of only two tables...of two. Took over 25 minutes and three requests to be given the bill. Our waiter was also very awkward - he mumbled and did not make eye contact at all, my friend commented (to me, not the waiter!) that it made him feel uncomfortable and... More
