I come here all the time for lunch. Great prices, tasty food and the staff are so helpful and efficient. It’s always busy here but the staff behind the counters always make sure someone’s being served. We love you Market Deli!

I was introduced to this places about 2 weeks ago and now go there most days for lunch. Before this I would go to other fast food places such as McDonald’s, Greg’s etc which tend to be pricey and still feeling peckish afterwards. I have...a big appetite and from here I get a tub full of chicken and rice and 2 separate chicken screwers for £5.50 which leaves me stuffed for hours. Great if you work nearby.More

I cannot thank Andrew and his team enough for the effort they put into the food they lovingly prepare, and the marvellous service they offer. So many of my friends and family are now customers because I can’t stop raving about them. They have sorted...out my Christmas and Easter meats for many years and they are always there when I need them, from my lunch to helping me swerve the evening cooking because the Chinese Chicken Curry or Lasagne hits the spot with the family every time. Love this place. It has everything I need for all year round , it’s fab. The salads are beautiful and fresh , the meats are cooked and cut to perfection and ready meals are filling and far better quality and value than those you buy...elsewhere. They even deliver my Christmas stuff. I can’t be bothered with the daunting task of parking up , grabbing my turkey , honey roast ham , top side of beef and all the trimmings which have become family favourites. 10 out of 10 !More

With each and every visit to Cardiff Centre, I have to make a visit to The Market Deli. The team are really friendly, they talk to you like a person rather than faking it with the usual insincere customer service you get elsewhere, and the...food is always a winner. The Chinese curry with rice or noodles, or both, is like a signature dish, and recognisable to many. I work on the outskirts of Cardiff, and last week when I was sat at my desk face-bombing my Chinese curry, a passing colleague remarked: “that looks and smells like the curry you get from The Market Deli”. He had no idea I was a customer and vice versa. I have sampled much of what they have, and it’s all excellent, but I always go back to the curry. Comfort food at its best.More

I've been a regular visitor of the this place for years. Recommended for a decently priced lunch during your works lunch hour. Staff are friendly and you can build up a free meal with a loyalty card! Chili con carne and stews highly recommended. Lovely...spot!More

I've been here for lunch a couple of times since my office moved to the city centre. An excellent selection available and you can have a big feed for under £5. Everything is cooked really well and there are hot and cold options available. Will...be eating here a lot in the future, I can already tell.More

Anyone who has not been here must take time to try this fine establishment - lovely friendly staff, fantastic assortment of culinary delights to suit everybody. Hot & cold foods - exotic spicy foods - you name it - they got it! What a fantastic place for lunch if you work in Cardiff. A great range of meals and sandwiches etc. Bread always so fresh. Highlights are the hot chicken kebabs and burritos. The noodles rice and curry is a personal fave. Such an awesome wide selection...of items and the staff are always so friendly and helpful. New fave place for lunch. Good value tooMore
