We had a very good meal. Food was delicious and attractively presented. The service was good and there was a pleasant atmosphere. I would certainly go there again and recommend it to others.
On a bitterly cold day it’s gratifying to walk into a traditional Pub with a blazing fire. Two courses £12/Three courses £15 which considering the quality of the food is worth every penny. Limited lunchtime menu but one which accommodates both the carnivore plus vegetarians....More

Just had lunch there. Superb. My sea bream was perfect and my friend said his steak was top class. Exceptional value for money too. Add in good quality beer and great service from the young staff and a five star rating is well deserved

We recently went for lunch which we were really impressed with so last night 5 of us dined for dinner which I can only was excellent, which was echoed by other members of the party. Well done Ruppera.
An amazing roast. I have an awkward intolerance (sulphites) and a lot of the mains includes things I couldn’t have. However the staff went out of their way to get me alternatives. Everyone in our party enjoyed their Sunday roasts including the 8 year old....More
