The first impression is too bright and empty, and everything is very overpriced, the stuff are not very attentive, for the price we pay I don’t think it’s a nice experience

What an awful experience having booked a table at 8.30pm in the ‘restaurant’. More like a canteen, extremely brightly lit, and definitely not a pleasant dining experience! We ordered promptly, and starters arrived speedily, but halfway through our main course, the staff started mopping the...floors with buckets around our feet!!!! Unbelievable!! We were told that the kitchen had closed when we tried to order a dessert at 9.10pm. We were then chivvied to the desk to pay, whilst our table was cleared completely, even our unfinished wine! DO NOT book a table after 8pm or you will not have time to eat it! The staff and manager are clueless about any sort of dining experience, just take your money and can’t get you out quick enough!! Food is ok ….. they should just concentrate on takeaways, or re-name their establishment as a ‘diner’ or cafe.More

Drove past on our way down to the Mumbles and were intrigued by the gorgeous artwork on the building, got to our rental place to find the Nishimura menu had been provided in the house - after looking at how many amazing options there were...we knew we had to go in and try it! The food is absolutely divine. I had the pumpkin katsu udon noodle soup and my partner had the pumpkin katsu curry. I also enjoyed the agedashi tofu. I can honestly say it was probably the best Japanese cuisine I have ever had! The staff were all very friendly and the service was very fast, we didn't have to wait long for our food at all and it was all hot and fresh. My only regret is that we only had time to eat here once - I'm desperate to return! Also love that there were hi-chews instead of little mints on the counter when we paid. Perhaps consider opening a branch in Hereford - I imagine I could single-handedly fund the entire operation with my sales alone!More

Lovely open and well laid out place Very friendly staff and great choice. As we had never been before we asked lots of questions and the young lady was very helpful. We had a few things and it was all very nice and a great...choice with a little help 😇 We didn’t use chopsticks and we were given cutlery which was not a problem at all. All in all a very pleasant experience and great food and very welcoming place It’s a must do for a really good change from the norm.More

An unusual but pleasant experience. Very canteen looking inside but excellent service and attention from the serving team. Food was plentiful and was very quick to be served. Would recommend this cafe for an early evening meal or lunch

This is our third visit this summer. Last night was exceptional. We were 13 adults, a baby and two dogs. the staff were brilliant, the food was amazing. The restuarant was already busy at 6pm and by the time we left at around 19.45 the...queue was out the door. This shows how poplualr this restaurant is and how great the food and staff are. This is our absolute favourite in Swansea! This place deserves much more recognition over the overpriced places you find in Swansea. The food is outstanding and I mean outstanding, the service is excellent and the prices are reasonable. We pick it for special occasions and...for a impromptu date night - every time it’s fantastic!More

Absolutely fabulous Japanese restaurant - voted favourite meal of the week by our teenagers. We enjoyed the bento boxes and side dishes. Takeaway service prompt and easy to order on the website. Delicious!

We actually went to the branch in Mumbles, Swansea. The place was bright and airy, the staff friendly and attentive and the food really excellent. This recently-established offshoot is an excellent addition to the area.

Came here for the first time with my husband after hearing good reviews. There is no car park for guests however parking down the road was only £2 for 2 hours. On arrival at the restaurant it was clean & we were seated promptly, My...husband didn’t think he would really like the food but knew he liked chicken Katsu curry so ordered that. I ordered the YAKI NIKU BEEF BENTO box which contained beef in a teriyaki sauce. The beef was cooked perfectly & was so tender, I persuaded my husband to try a bit & he liked it so much he ordered the beef as a side dish. Everything in my bento box was cooked perfectly, good size portion too. My husband also loved his food, I think he has been converted. Staff are friendly & pleasant, food comes out quickly & the prices are fair too. We will be back.More

This restaurant has moved to Mumbles. Great location. Great service and wonderful authentic food. New restaurant is clean and airy.
