We went on valentines night and had the set valentines menu. I love the interior of Safa and the ambience of the place, it's so relaxed and the environment created is one where you can truly unwind and enjoy your meal. On top of that the staff are always knowledgable about the menu and will go into detail on dishes... More

My girlfriend and I were looking for a restaurant for dinner in Belfast. We decided to give Safa a try based on its good reviews. We could not have been any happier with our choice. Not only was the food sensational but the waiters, Wesley and Hasan, were very attentive. Could not recommend this restaurant any higher! Try the dhansak,... More

Visited on an early quiet Tuesday evening and was very happy, food was very good but the service was great - got chatting with the waiter about their wine selection which had a few interesting options on it. A very pleasant night and good value as well. We will go back - its not big and sort of out of... More

Was shopping I town last week with my husband and we called in for lunch. Was rather busy but after a short 5 minute wait we had a table. As usual the food was delicious.

Second time here now. Still the same old menu not inviting at all frankly. Rushed from our table not even 5 minutes into our dessert. Gave it a second chance. Wont be in a hurry to go again. Sorry but the truth.

Safa is in a good city centre location if in town and on foot. Menu has some interesting and tasty options in addition to the routine dishes available in all Indian restaurants. Prices are all reasonable. (Try the saag wala with lamb if interested in a lighter alternative to a curry without compromising on the depth of flavour.) Staff are... More

The microwavable curry in M&S are tastier and more authentic with more ingredients so just avoid going to this restaurant. Some staffs(female) were not very nice too.

Just after a fantastic meal at Safa. Staff couldn't have been more welcoming from the moment we got in and the table we were given waS fantastic. Food was the best Indian food I've ever had in Northern Ireland and me and my girlfriend will definitely be back. Thanks to Imran and the rest of the staff there for a... More

Contemporary Indian cuisine, located on bank street in the heart of Belfast City centre. At Safa we offer authentic Indian recipes and traditional style of cooking. Ali takes great pride in cooking to order and grinding all his own spices so it really is the closest to Indian home cooking you can get. We also have a full bar and incredible wine list.
