Tonight saw the launch of Franciscan Well canned craft beer. The beers are brewed in Cork and the venue for the launch was The Dark Horse in the Cathedral Quarter. The coffee, scones and tray-bakes on offer here are routinely excellent - as is the warm, friendly service from Stuart and the rest of the morning team.

My friend is a GOT aficionado, who knew! Have some fun with what's behind this door video tape it for your friends. Staff was very courteous and after having scones over the 3 weeks we traveled throughout Ireland and Northern Ireland that there scones were the best throughout the Emerald Isles. As other reviewers have noted The Dark Horse doesn't... More

We called in, primarily to see the Game Of Thrones door, and after reading some of the previous reviews on Tripadvisor, it was with some trepidation. However, we need not have worried, we were welcomed, very warmly by the barman, Chris, who was able to give us some background about the door - for example, the venues don't own them,... More

We only went to see the door and given previous reviews were apprehensive. However the two female members of staff could not be more helpful or nicer. Pointed us in the direction and even offered to take a photograph of us. Whilst didn't eat or drink place was attractive and will go back at some point soon for lunch. Thank... More

Although the prices were reasonable, the food was not the best and the staff were not engaging or friendly at all. Upon entering, I waited several minutes while the staff was huddled about the bar. Since I was not asked to have a seat, I asked if they were open. They replied to have a seat and they would bring... More

So devastated to have travelled from quite a distance to visit the GAME OF THRONES door to find it was covered by a copper table. We attempted to get a picture of the last door released from the sixth series only to have the door man refuse point blank at our ignorance from no tasking even after we had already... More

Cute venue which was buzzing with chatter. In the Cathedral Quarter and very close to the Duke of York, so handy for including in a pub crawl. One draw back - only one toilet for the whole bar!
