Had a meal with friends. This is the first time I would say "It was O.K." The service was slow and not the fault of the waiters but not enough staff on. The roast beef could have been cooked in the slow cooker for another few hours. It was tough and chewy. Been to better hotels so would not be... More

Have stayed in this hotel a few times and it is a cheap and cheerful hotel close to the centre of Belfast, reception and door staff are always very friendly. Rooms nice, just plain and simple but everything that you need. Food is good and drink is good. I had the prawns and they were nice, big servings. My partner... More

Very good choice of lunch buffet. Reasonably priced for all you could eat. Kids enjoyed choosing their own food. Staff were really pleasant but no ice cream for kids.

Called here for lunch ok business and found the staff hard work. We had to wait ages to get served and was only given half the menu. It wasn't until we asked about a sandwich that they realised. The place is clean and tidy though.

Just a one night stay here on a Friday night. A twin room and a double. The staff were lovely and the guy on reception was sweet and helpful. The food was quite good (good burger) and a range of veggie stuff too. This hotel is tired and in dire need of upgrading, but, I don't mind a bit of... More

This hotel is not the most luxurious you will ever stay at and does need some TLC, but it makes up for that with an incredibly friendly staff. I stay here occasionally, usually with the same group of friends and everybody is just really nice and will always go the extra mile to help you out.

This hotel, popular in its day, is beyond use. The rooms are paint chipped, poorly maintained with fungus between the bathroom tiles and will appeal only to those desperate to save money. The public bar is pleasant and popular with locals but the money the owners have made over the years has not been invested in hotel customer services. We... More

Well it was what we wanted nice drink time to catch up comfortable chairs decent loo's and good car park. The drinks were a bit pricey but has to be expected as it's a hotel not a pub. Could take the grandchildren if we wanted. Nice evening

We eat at the lansdowne fairly regularly, so chose it for my birthday with my parents and our daughter. We had the same waitress as other times. Friendly, pleasant and well mannered, also knows the menu and can help you chose what to have. We asked for 3 steaks well done, chicken for dad and lasagne for daughter. The first... More

I lunched with 3 friends. My "crispy pork belly" was carbonised. I wasn't prepared to try this black, inedible crust. Elsewhere, the crackling has been the highlight of the meal. The waiter asked if the food was to our liking and I indicated the burnt crackling and said, "no, this isn't crisp, it is totally burnt." "Sorry about that, I... More
