Visited Tedfords over the holiday period having heard a number of mixed reviews about this riverside establishment. First of all let me cover the good points of this converted sail and tentmakers eatery. Yes it is small but as they saying goes 'perfectly formed' with an intimate atmosphere and very welcoming and helpful staff. However although the food tasted very... More

Starters: beautiful. Highly recommend the scallop and beef croquette. Carpaccio venison also lovely. Maybe the kearney blue fritter could be a tiny bit smaller so as not to beat the bejaysus out of the flavour of the venison. This is coming from a kearney blue aholic by the way. Mains: Lamb main was delicious, Could have done with more of... More

Been a few times and have mostly really enjoyed although previously it was empty and cold, this time half-empty and warm though were made to wait quite a long time before we were 'able' to order our food (about 40 minutes). The food was good - lovely underlying flavours though it was totally over seasoned - salty salty salty -... More

One of the two best restaurants I've visited this year. Interesting flavour combinations, food well presented, ( but without ridiculous theatrical dry ice and silly serving utensils), well considered portion sizes. Good choices available too, using local and seasonal ingredients. Nice atmos, friendly efficient and knowledgeable staff. Good vfm, £100 for 2.5 course meal for two with pre dinner drink... More

The most delicious food is served at Tedfords. The only thing for me is that the menu changes and my all time fav is no longer on the menu. Friendly staff. Totally classy surroundings. One of the best restaurants Belfast has to offer.

Called in for lunch and only wanted a quick bite to eat . We decided to have a selection of starter only . The food was well presented and very tasty . The staff were great and service was good. This restaurant had a lovely feel about it and its definitely worth another visit.

We went to Tedfords as a family and were very happy with the food. We go out eating regularly and were looking forward to it as I heard good reviews from colleagues. We were not dissappointed and the waiters were attentive without being theatrical (not like the restaurant down the OXford road, which was dissapointing gastronomically despite their flourishing). The... More

Had been wanting to have a meal here for years and finally got my chance on Saturday night. Most of the staff were very nice and we kept them very busy as we were with a very large party. Before we had our starters we were presented with some very nice bread but it was sliced so thinly that we... More

30 members of Holywood Fine Dining Club visited this lovely restaurant on Wednesday 30 November 2016. The menu was varied and had plenty of choice for all. I personally had lamb rump beautifully cooked. The sticky toffee pudding was wonderful, if very calorific. The service for a large party was excellent, prompt and no-one was kept waiting. Congratulations to the... More
