My favourite place to eat in Derry. The pan fried salmon is to die for and the staff are always friendly and attentive. 100% recommended.

My friends and family went to silver Street for my birthday. We were a party of 12. The staff in the restaurant were great. I had contacted them a few times before we arrived on Saturday night. They were so helpful in advance and also...during our evening. The service was brilliant and the staff couldn't do enough for us. We were at a separate part of the restaurant at the back. The table had been decorated with Balloons and banners by the staff. The food was lovely with big portions and a very reasonable price. I have a friend who is vegetarian and one who is coeliac. I highly recommend Silver Street. A big thank you to all the staff.More

We had a fabulous night at Silver Street for my sister’s hen party last weekend. We booked booths on the balcony and it was ideal for us. The staff were so helpful in advance and on the evening itself. We were able to set the...tables and put up some decorations ourselves in the afternoon before our party arrived. Even though there was another hen party and a birthday party at the other end of the balcony, we had plenty of space so our party felt very self-contained and free to do our own thing. We pre-ordered pizzas with sides which were delicious and there was no issue pushing the order a bit later than planned. We also had chilled prosecco on each table in advance. The staff on the balcony providing table service during the evening were absolutely brilliant. Anyone booking the balcony for similar events should be aware that table service ends and you have to go downstairs to the bar to order drinks later in the night, and the toilets are also downstairs, but there is a lift. There was no live music and there is more of a sports bar vibe in the afternoon, but later on the DJ did get us all up and dancing. We considered looking for somewhere livelier before the dancing got going, but in the end we were so glad that we didn’t give up our tables, especially on a very busy Saturday night in Derry! Overall, unless you want somewhere with live music, I’d highly recommend Silver Street for hen parties and other large bookings.More

4 of us went here on Friday for lunch. As usual it was amazing. The food never disappoints. The chicken Caesar salad was beautiful and a side of bacon fries. They were so delicious we had to order another portion. Fantastic steak sandwich and our...fussy eater friend loved her trio of tacos and sweet potato fries. Deserts were to die for. Malteaser meringue and crunchie cheesecake. All washed down with beautiful wine and cocktails. The staff were lovely and friendly even the manager put in an appearance with his witty banter. As usual will be back very soon. I even know what I’m going to have the next visit: their amazing homemade lasagne with coleslaw. Definitely the best in townMore

This 3 star review has nothing to do with the food it was good. The bar/cafe was modern and spacious. The barman who showed us to our table, got our menus, took our drinks order was friendly and chatty. He made you welcome. The waitress...who served us needs a lesson in customer table service and communication skills. Quite rude and abrupt!More

Lots of spaces, contact details taken and masks, more in line with Covid policies than some places. Great menu, lovely service, good food, huge portions and when dinner costs less than a quick lunch at a garden centre you can't atgue about price.
