First time here and an absolute delight. Excellent lunch. I had the salt and pepper pork belly with a black pudding crumb which was absolutely fabulous. We both had the chicken Schnitzel dish which again was very tasty and plenty of it. My partner completed...the meal with salted banana pudding which she said was very tasty but perhaps a scoop of ice cream would have made it even better. All in all a great experience and somewhere that we shall return to in the near future. Very friendly and helpful staff also.More

Took my wife here for her birthday. We have had a takeaway valentines cook at home meal from here and it was good. We always wanted to go back and try the restaurant. On 3rd floor you get a really good, if unusual, view of...the harbour. On a bright early summer night it was lovely. The men is very good with lots of good choices. The food is very well prepared with some interesting, not the normal, tastes and flavours. My wife had tempura scallops to start and the were lovely. My lamb duo as main was fantastic. Friendly service. We will return. Highly recommend this restaurant.More

Went here on a date night with my husband and unfortunately we were not very impressed by the service or the food. Our starters were nice but when it came to the main courses it was disappointing, I had the duck breast which didn't really...taste of anything and my husband had the steak which was over seasoned and the fat wasn't cooked. The staff didn't offer him any alternative eg veg when he asked could I have something else instead of mushroom and tomato please nothing was done about it. For what you get its overpriced and the service is poor, no one came over to our table to see how things were which isn't good. I don't think we will be back due to the quality of the mains and poor service from the staff.More

We went to the tasting menu night (Thursdays). The food was amazing - innovative, perfectly cooked and beautifully presented. I had avocado salad, veggie haggis scotch egg, and apple pie with calvados ice cream. It was a very high standard for the price - fresh...and homemade, top quality ingredients. Staff were very friendly, knowledgeable and attentive, but not overbearing. The evening ambiance was lovely too, with subdued lighting, real pillar candles, and amazing views over the harbour. Highly recommended to others.More

This restaurant was the strangest place. Very atmosphere less and seemingly manned by untrained (very young) staff. It felt like an day at a conference centre which had just opened and had to cater for people when they had no experience. For the first half...of the meal, there was no music on which only contributed to the strange atmosphere - it was really odd that the staff didn’t seem to notice and everyone sat around was clearly feeling a bit awkward with everyone being able to hear conversation. My daughter ordered soup which she sent back as it was cold and watery, My husband had cod which he was ok but the gnocchi ( which I’ve seen mentioned in other reviews) was literally inedible. We all tried a bit and it was slimy and not really like gnocchi. It’s so weird that other reviews mention it and they’ve not done anything about it - hence the one star. It feels, here, like they don’t really care or respond to criticism. That it’s money making but they’re not concerned with quality of food, service or atmosphere. Waiter was po faced with the soup and was still on bill - he was so young I wondered if he’d had any training. In other restaurants, when you raise a concern, they usually offer you something else (didn’t) or at least don’t charge you.More

I had been wanting to treat the girlfriend to a date night, and after hearing good reviews from work colleagues, I really wanted to try 210 Bistro. After contacting them on messenger we were offered the Sky Bar which overlooks Aberdeen's harbour.. what a perfect...way to spend a romantic evening. First thoughts of walking into the Sky Bar were great, a lovely modern & light restaurant with glass windows overlooking a beautiful sunset, we were shown to our table by a very friendly member of staff and shown the specials menu which was on a chalkboard and was positioned at your table. The menu is really well laid out with options of lobster, burgers, steak to fish & chips, all sourced locally in the area & at great prices. We started off with the Bread Board & Bon Bons which came out in no time at all, cooked perfectly and tasted great, the Girlfriend had Half Lobster and I had the burger all to which were cooked to perfection. To finish it had to be the Creme Brulee a personal favourite and this was the best I had ever had... brilliant to share! From start to finish 210 Bistro made it a lovely evening for myself & the girlfriend, we really enjoyed the food & the ambiance, it was great to get dressed up for the evening to enjoy a few drinks and good company. Will definietly be back!More

Very disappointed in the quality of the steak. We both wanted the Ribeye Steak but they only had one, so we decided to both have the Sirloin. When it arrived the waiter became confused as to which one was medium or medium to well done,..., he ended up giving us both the wrong steak as we could identify them by the different sauces we had ordered. After cutting into mine I realised mine was rare , I complained and the waiter took it away and brought it back again once cooked to what I had asked for. Whilst the steak was replayed, the cut chips were cold as these were not a new portion. The steak whilst cooked better , it had no real flavour . When the bill arrived they had taken off the bread as an apology, whist this was acceptable I certainly would not recommend anyone waste their money on eating steak at this restaurant and choose something else.More

31/07/21 Managed to book a table for 2 a few hours in advance on a Saturday night, after trying a few other places which were fully booked. In the end we were happy that we never managed to get a table elsewhere in the first...place. On arrival the place was all Covid-19 compliant with measures and guidance in place without being asked to follow any as it was all signed up. Even the toilets/bathrooms said to lock the door behind you so that you were the only one inside when using it. We fell for the ‘while you wait’ food prior to our starter and had the bread board with oils and butter and also Hagis Bon Bons. Both good portion sizes which all tasted great. Then for starters we had... Grilled Scallops (which had a real nice char grilled taste but not over cooked at all) with cold Israeli couscous, which had lovely flavours of mango and pineapple, sweet chilli sauce and lime. Would may have been nicer being warm couscous, but nice all the same. Cold would have been fine if we were on a beach somewhere warm. Sliced pork belly with raspberries, peaches, radicchio, watercress and apple purée with a maple dressing and sunflower seeds. This honestly tasted superb. Most flavoursome pork belly I’ve tried to date. Main courses... We both had the Corn fed chicken; chicken roulade, wing lollipop (small drumstick), pulled chicken Bon Bon, chicken crisp, pea purée and oregano jus. Additionally... one of us had the sweet potato fries and buttered seasonal veg to accompany it and the other had duck fat roasted chips with buttered seasonal veg. Main course was delicious down to the chicken crisp. The chicken roulade was beautifully cooked, the chicken in the Bon Bon was great, the duck fat roasted chips were brilliant, and the veg was perfectly cooked and was a good side to the main along with the chips so we recommend. Desert.. Only one of us had (although both of us tried!), which was the Vanilla créme brûlée with strawberry and mint compote, tuile and strawberry frozen yoghurt. It was a dream, delightful, big portion as well, very morish. I don’t usually go for créme brûlée as I’ve never been impressed with them but I tried this and for me it was food pleasure. So overall, really glad we got a table here. Enjoyed the food thoroughly. Service was good and attentive. Background music was also a good bonus Thank you. Hope to returnMore

I never, ever leave bad reviews but felt compelled to warn people about the dire food at 210 Bistro. I can honestly say it was the oddest meal we’ve ever eaten. I had the tuna steak which tasted nothing like any fish I’ve ever had....It was definitely not fresh, had zero taste & was drowned in the most bland yoghurt liquid imaginable. It was like a school dinner & that’s being kind. The couscous that accompanied it was a cold lump of tasteless stodginess. My partner had the sirloin steak which was tiny, burnt & had no flavour. The peppercorn sauce was a congealed mass in a pot which he struggled to poor out. The desert was a layer cake which was almost certainly a frozen Lidl type thing which was just so disappointing. I’m not sure if the normal chef was perhaps off as we went there based on the reviews on here which are mostly positive, but it was the worst meal we’ve ever had. At £70 we were definitely over charged also as it was supposed to be the 3 courses for £25 deal, which we didn’t realise until we’d left. We only had soft drinks so this was definitely wrong. £70 & I came home and ate pizza! So disappointing.More

Being in a vulnerable category for Covid-19 we had not been out to eat for a while. It was a real pleasure therefore to return to 210 Bistro, to be warmly welcomed and to recognized as past customers. The one way system was clearly explained...and easy to follow. Tables were well spaced out and we were allocated one in a corner with an excellent view. The food was well presented and as delicious as ever. Service was that rare balance of attentive without being intrusive. A balance not many servers achieve. Thank you 210 we will be back.More
