Went out for a meal for a friend moving to London and the lasting impression this experience has gave him of Aberdeen culinary establishments will haunt him for years. Waiting 30 minutes for a pint...of beer, not ideal. I like beer and don’t like waiting, mark down for me. Heating up at 50 degrees. Good charitable work in a cost of living crisis, however not ideal when you are trying to enjoy a meal. Then we come to the food. Two hours after entering the place, about 1.5 hours after ordering some food still hadn’t arrived. The food that did arrive had all the quality of the proverbial Rustlers burger. Some ate food, some left the restaurant with a belly as empty as the award cabinet at said establishment. Lastly, the pints of god knows what that the waiter tried to serve were an absolute disgrace. Flatter than the runway of Aberdeen airport. Looked like irn bru. Prison food, prison service with a well paid heating bill.
