Such lovely restaurant staff at the Dutch Mill. So tolerant of our flaky family timings and very obliging. I recently attended The Dutch Mill to celebrate my hen night. I wanted somewhere that served high quality food and drinks, so there was never any doubt about booking The Dutch Mill as it is always amazing food and service. Despite us booking for up...to 30 people, they did not require us to pre-order, which to me speaks volumes about the calibre of chef's they employ. We ended up with a party of about 20 due to illness, but things couldn't have ran more smoothly. The food was served quickly, was hot and every single person raved about how good their meals were. The staff were so friendly and efficient throughout. We enjoyed many cocktails - all of which were delicious. The menu was so accommodating for all diet needs - some of our were after a lighter bite whereas others were eating their only meal for the day - it is often hard to get a venue that accommodates both at the same time.More

The hotel was one of the best on my tour of Scotland. The staff was extremely friendly. From old fashion checkin to clean roomy rooms. The bar scene was fantastic. We hired the room to the right for my daughters 18th and I'll tell you what the staff made it a great night. They were so attentive especially the manager assistant. We handed in decorations to come in early and decorate which was done for...our arrival and the bill was less than we expected giving all the drinks and meals. Reasonable prices for a beautiful and vibrant bar/restaurant that don't overcharge like other places on the street. Thankyou. We will be back (for a fourth time)More

An excellent stopover hotel in Aberdeen. Very welcoming and friendly staff. Well stocked bar and also a wide ranging bar and restaurant menu. It is a busy place but very well organised and managed. Bedrooms were very clean with very comfortable beds. Rooms were very...nicely fitted out and decorated. En-suite bathrooms were immaculate. Breakfast in the morning was first class in a very nice breakfast room. Staff throughout were very friendly and helpful. Service levels were superb. Although a popular and very busy venue, there is a really good chilled atmosphere about the place. Will return.More

We are here on a Sunday dinner time. The bar and restaurant were very busy, however the staff were attentive, friendly and the service was very good. We didn’t have long to wait for our food or drinks. The food was delicious and there were...lots of options for everyone and specials too. Three of my party had burgers and they looked exceptional and all our plates were emptied! It was great value for money and we will be returning again.More

The staff were really very accommodating, the food very good, the bedrooms well equipped and very clean plus our bed very comfortable (though friends in Room 4 found theirs hard?). The only real downside was actually the popularity of the place on our 2nd night...there when a football game was on TV in the main bar. It became very crowded and the noise continued until late on that particular night and our room (room 1) was above the bar. I would recommend an anti slip mat in the shower as the base was very slippy. As an aside parking onsite could be tricky for those with larger vehicles as it's a very narrow entrance and exit. I'd go back without hesitation and I'm pleased they have such a good customer base!More

Had a fantastic afternoon celebrating my 50th birthday with 12 of my friends. We were able to book and area from 1200 for 7 hours. We ordered Buffet menu B and it was excellent. Great selection of nibbles that were nice and hot, and sandwiches,...salad, dips, and a chilli bowl with nachos. The Manager and staff were brilliant. Especially a lovely young lady called Summer who took great care of us. Nothing was any problem to her and she even joined in the banter, which we love. Nice surroundings, great atmosphere and clean toilets!!More

One of my favourite places to eat and so for my 50th booked for a family meal. Some of my family have never been to the Dutch Mill and it was also my 6month old grandchild’s first family meal out and he was well catered...for. We were able to book the private room, which the family were allowed to decorate with balloons and banners. Angela and the rest of the staff were helpful, cheery and polite, all going out their way to make my birthday celebrations special. The food was served quickly and everyone loved their meals. We had plenty time for 3 courses and never felt rushed. Definitely recommend the Dutch MillMore
