Found myself in here on Valentine's Day evening on a business trip north, and it was an excellent escape from the hordes of amorous couples elsewhere. Truly superb whisky selection with a huge menu folder. Whiskies suitable for all tastes (unless you don't like whisky, in which case they also have other spirits too). Friendly and chatty bar staff, with... More

hidden just Down the street from Radisson hotel, behind a very modest looking door ( not very inviting by the looks) you find this really old, Authentic 100 year old pub, Crowded With People and With such a great athmosphere. You really haven't been to Aberdeen until you have had a taste of one of the more then 70 kinds... More

A fine choice of bar for the lover of single malts and original Victorian ambience. The staff are knowledgeable and will happily direct you to a suitable snifter of whatever suits your palette. Recommended.

Old school whisky bar. Awesome. Their's a massive variety of whiskies to suit anyone's taste...and pocket! :) I recommend selecting sampling tours from different regions of Scotland. A must see!

Nice bar but not great for meals. It has a nice selection of whisky. The men's toilets which are away down in the dungeons were very smelly of pee not suitable for elederly.

Huge selection of spirits and beers-always a good atmosphere whether stowed out at the weekend or quiet in the afternoon. Superb staff, all very knowledgeable and professional. Don't judge it by the outside-it's a great bar!

Not being a whisky aficinado, I was a bit sceptical when joining my whiskyloving nephew to the Grill. This was saturday night and the place was crowded. But we were able to order and drink two different singel malts from Islay. Great stuff! My interest of this part of Scottish culture was awoken! When In Aberdeen, don't miss The Grill!

One of the best bars in Aberdeen - if you are looking to have a drink without the background buzz of music or TV.The selection of whisky is amazing , the knowledge of the staff - high. The bar is beautifully basic with plenty of standing room and small tables around the room - the decor is to my taste... More

This pub has been here for many many years. It was originally men only in the dim & dark ages. My dad frequented this place nightly for a pint & chat with his friends! The interior looks original to me, beautiful wood paneling. If your a whiskey lover, this is the place for you. There is a massive range and... More

Thanks for your kind review. The interior hasn't changed since 1926, and the only other change since then was the installation of the ladies toilet in 1998. More
