Visited twice in the last two months, once for a pre concert meal & overnight stay and the other for a meal with friends. Great atmosphere with clean, comfortable surroundings. Food and service was excellent. I would highly recommend and plan to visit again soon....Thank you!More

3 of us had dinner here for the first time recently. I must say it was pretty good. Theer were plenty of choices for meat and fish eaters (vegetarians might be less fortunate) I had the tempura prawns and calamari as starter. They were really...nicely cooked, For main I had the rack of pork ribs - a very sizeable portion with the succulent meat just falling off the bone. I would have liked the fries to have been a bit crisper though.More

Came here for lunch on a Tuesday early afternoon for our lunch before heading to the airport to catch our flight back home to Norway. Excellent choice and we will definitely come back! Comfy bed, dinner was lovely, good choice of food. Nothing was any trouble for the kind friendly staff.

The food in this place is really nice and the staff are both attentive and pleasant. We were a large party but the food was served in good time, no rush no fuss. Very enjoyable and high recommended.

Chicken Wontons were lovely. Beef cheeks were outstanding as was the curry. Nice choice of deserts and great value for money.

We were in the area for a wedding on the Saturday, but didn't want to pay the exorbitant price for the wedding venue on the Friday night. So we found the Dunavon, and what a find! We were allocated room 6 on the ground floor,...and it was lovely. A bay window overlooking the front of the front of the hotel, tastefully decorated and really comfortable. The shower was a bit iffy, but the luxurious towels made up for it. The breakfast was delicious and very relaxed, with a decent choice of cereals, fruit etc. and an excellent full Scottish (and coffee on tap!) We would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel if you are in the area, and we will hopefully be back at some time in the future. And the value for money is just unbelievable!More

So pleased with the food we were served in this newly discovered gem! The food was perfectly presented, extremely delicious & a generous portion. The chips were probably the best I’ve tasted! My only slight critique would be the length of time it took to...be served, however all staff were lovely & friendly. We will definitely be back!More

We were looking forward to a visit as this was rated highly on TripAdvisor. Seemed fine initially, place was busy enough, but went downhill once the food arrived. Fish and chips were greasy,batter on fish was the worse I'd tasted. When I complained, I was...told that the fish and chips are always served greasy. I was offered a replacement fish and chips, but refused on this explanation. Chose chicken curry, which was disappointingly tasteless. Even the poppadom had been cooked in cold fat. Can't recommend this to anyone.More

We decided to visit on Sunday lunchtime. When we arrived pleasantly surprised it was very quiet. Apart from 1 table of six and another table of two and later after us another table joined of two. We ordered our meal very quickly. Downhill from there....Our “ciabatta toast with garlic and mozzarella took half an hour and that’s after asking for it. Once it did arrive it very extremely clear it had been thrown on and taken out in second as it was warm bread. I then had to ask the waitress to take away our plates hinting we were ready for our mains. We waited and waited but finally gave up the ghost when a table who arrived much later than us received their mains first. This point nearly an hour has pasted. We cancelled our meal. Hungry and extremely disappointed we left. Would not recommend whatsoever. Appalling service. The manager just wanted to pass the buck and make excuses. Which we were not happy with. He did not charge us for our starter and the few drinks we had which was good. However all we wanted was a good meal after travelling down from Inverness in the horrendous weather .More
