Well, that's hyperbole. Of course the scenery isn't actually edible but its contribution to the all-round experience is considerable. As to the best meal I've ever had in a restaurant: possibly - it was very good. Very, very good, in fact. The staff went way out of their way to accommodate us, we were a party of four adults, one... On a recent trip to the Argyll region struggled to find any restaurant that allowed dogs until we found this place. Although quite a limited menu out of season there are the core choices and daily specials. Mix of sea foods and meats to choose from on menu. Great steak pie, salmon with honey and mustard and chili chicken lasagne... More

What a great place! Fabulous location, great design, lots of choice, lovely food and a very nice atmosphere. What a shame the guy who served us let's the whole place down with his blasé attitude. The whole experience could have been 4/5 and may have been pushing 5/5 had it not been for him but sorry, 3/5 reflects the change... More

Visited here a few times now. It has been quiet and it has been busy , everytime the staff have been absolutely brilliant , friendly and courteous. The food is superb also . Very relaxing and enjoyable experience. If the weather is good enough sit out on the decked area and breath in the sea air with the breathtaking views... More

Great venue for lunch with great food at reasonable prices. Very friendly staff and prompt service. Restricted menu in Winter but still plenty to choose from. My personal favourite is the Argyl beef burger with all the trimmings. A testimony to its quality was the fact that it was full despite it being early February. May be wise to book... More

called in for a quick meal at the inn ,have been before and it did not disappoint, quickly shown to a table and food ordered and arrived with little delay .There were a lot of people eating considering this is the winter season.Would recommend whether you want just a sandwich or a bar meal.
