Just north of Oban, near the Appin peninsula. A roadside pub that does good pub food. On entry the welcome from the bar was exceptional, pleasant and chatty. The place was doing good business between Christmas and New Year. Ale and soft drinks perfectly OK....More

Always stop off here and try not to have the haggis neaps and tatties as everything else looks great but fail every time. Argyll Yarl on tap, lovely beer.

Stopped in without booking and they found space for 14 of us. The food was delicious - some of the nicest mussels I have ever had. The service was quick and friendly and the view is breathtaking. Well worth a visit.

Stopped in on our way through for tea and scones, and they were the best scones we’ve had in Scotland so far. Plus the lovely lady who served us was such a delight and gave some excellent recommendations for local attractions.
