We stayed in the hotel and ate in the restaurant on both nights and it was fantastic. From the food which of course was stunning, to the service which was friendly and unobtrusive and the atmosphere which was one of understated elegance. It is obvious that they take advantage of the local produce as everything was incredibly fresh and the... More

See also my review of the hotel. The whole dinner experience was simply perfection. You start of in the lounge where you choose your dishes whilst they serve lovely canapés. You're then taken through to the reataurant and seated where a waitress serves water etc. All beautifully done. As for the meal it was stunning. I understand they have just... More

We do welcome constructive criticism, as we believe that we can always improve. Unfortunately this guest did not mention any of these points when leaving, quite the opposite, they said they had enjoyed their afternoon. Our afternoon tea consists of a selection of freshly made scones, sandwiches and cakes, as well as an amuse bouche, these have aways been very... More

Really expensive fish and chips, especially for the tiny bit of fish. It was good, but there are good fish and chips everywhere. Kind of felt we were paying for starched serviettes and snooty waiter that could not be found when needed even at time for the check. Our friends stopped in for tea the prior day and it was... More

Thank you for taking the time to review your lunch visit. I am delighted that enjoyed your fish and chips. We do feel that we offer very good value for money at lunchtime where you can enjoy a three course, 3 rosette lunch for just £23.50. I am sorry that you felt that the waiter came across as being aloof... More

TripAdvisor will doubtless contain innumerable reflections on the quality of the Airds Hotel's culinary offerings and, no doubt, rightly so. As one of the UK's longest permanent residents within the pages of the Good Food Guide, it goes without saying that dining at the Airds is an experience which has been treasured by many over the years. Granted, my dining... More

Enjoyed dinner with friends at this wonderful hotel in Port Appin. Relaxing and comfortable lounges with real log fires to enjoy pre dinner drinks and peruse the menu. Staff friendly and helpful, food superb, can't recommend highly enough.

We were once again very lucky to have two memorable evening meals in this beautiful hotel. The evening starts with drinks & canapés by a roaring fire in the lounge followed by a meal in the elegant restaurant. Every course pleased the eye & the palette. Very pretty & elegant dishes which had us in tasting heaven. Can't think of... More

Description
A Romantic Candlelit Restaurant serving locally sourced food using the best ingredients. Specialising in local seafood, the restaurant has held 3 rosettes for over 20 years and is one of the longest serving restaurants to be featured in the Good Food Guide, with a current rating of 6. Stunning views front the restaurant, of Loch Linnhe and the Morvern mountains and amazing sunsets can be seen, especially during the summer months.

In the Spring and Summer it is also possible to enjoy morning coffee, lunch and afternoon tea sitting in the garden, again with spectacular views.

The hotel is open for morning coffee, lunch, afternoon tea and dinner. Coffee, lunch and tea are all available in the lounges, bar area, conservatory or in the garden. Dinner may be enjoyed either in the candlelit restaurant or in the conservatory with the ever changing scenery enjoyed in both.
