The sweet was great also. The staff were very efficient and friendly and the service very quick considering how packed... More

Popped in for a few drinks on a Friday afternoon. Very good selection of beers on draught, lovely cosy and warm atmosphere with an open fireplace. Can't comment on the food or accommodation but It looked good. Would recommend.

Called in here for lunch and were shown to a table in large barn type dining room at back. Soup just ok and panini dumped on top of a mound of oily looking salad leaves not very appetising. At the price charged a bit more care with the food presentation would help. The real thing that got to me was... More

The food is soooo good here. We love coming up from Glasgow, and usually get offered a good deal on rooms. It has a great vibe and atmosphere. Ask Chris for his wine recommendations, as he really knows his stuff. The wine selection is very very well chosen and well priced. Also great for whisky tasting nights.....!!
