Thoroughly enjoyed our visit here. Lasagne and macaroni cheese to be recommended. The peanut butter and chocolate stack was extraordinary! Great all round, and lovely to browse the deli after lunch.

We were in Oban and decided to have a look in this delicatessen which was stocked with so many different items. The cheese counter was stocked with so many different cheeses. Lots of gifts and chocolate and sweets were there to tempt you. We could not resist in going up stairs to the cafe for a sandwich and a pot... More

We managed to get our car parked outside this lovely cafe so it seemed only right to go in. We needed a quick bite before getting on the ferry to Mull. The staff were very friendly and accommodating as they knew we did not have much time to spare. We enjoyed bacon butties and cups of tea before racing off... More

Conveniently located overlooking the harbour offering a small but varied cafe style menu upstairs The Kitchen Garden Cafe & Deli is worth a visit for a cuppa. Pick up provisions for a picnic. Chutneys, jams, vegetarian options and lots of freshly made artisan-style bread are also available.

Stopped in here to buy some snacks prior to catching the ferry, after a truly horrible meal at the Café Caledonian around the corner. The cheeses were fantastic and were served up with a smile. Definitely try the Caboc cheese rolled in oats. Terrific stuff.

We had tea and sandwiches in this shop. Good food and good value. We went back another day and had coffee and shortbread. Very large round pieces only £1.45. Best shortbread I hav ever tasted.

We stopped for breakfast at this café, close to the departure terminal for the ferry to Mull. Passing through the bakery shop, we climbed the stairs to the first floor for our meal. The café latte had the frothy flavour of a great coffee. Next we had bacon rolls where the bacon was juicy and the bread fresh. If you... More

Came here for lunch - had baked potato and Plougman's Lunch. Both were very good, and tasty, made with ample servings of local ingredients. Service was friendly. No negatives, really.

The Kitchen Garden is a busy delicatessen and coffee shop. Our licensed coffee shop is located on a mezzanine floor which overlooks the delicatessen below. We offer freshly prepared, local, simple meals and can be busy during peak times. With regret we do not have lift access to the coffee shop but wheelchairs and buggies can be left in the deli, where the staff will keep an eye. Our deli is well stocked with several thousand lines from Scotland and beyond, with an emphasis on Scottish cheeses and whiskies.
