My wife and I came here for our second meal. The first was the week we got married two years ago, now we were here for a meal to celebrate our growing family. Could it be as good as the best meal I have ever had the first time round... Oh yes. The place itself is small and beautiful with... More

Me and my husband decided to go here having not been for many years and we love seafood.. it was also our anniversary We were seated close to the door in the corner of the room which wasn't very exciting as I was facing a pillar.. although in the summer months this would be fine as the large picture window... The seafood temple is just on the outskirts of Oban but is worth the short trip from the ferry terminal, it is small only seven tables decorated in a simplistic style overlooking the bay. It was dark when we visited but on a summers evening the view will be stunning. Although not particularly busy on our visit in late November... More

Booked into the Seafood Temple and had the most amazing seafood. Shared a starter of mussels and then halibut with lobster. Couldn't manage desert as portions are very generous. A real find and long may it thrive!

This was by far the best seafood restaurant we have ever visited. It is a small but perfectly formed venue. So booking is recommended to avoid disappointment. We were warmly greeted on arrival and shown to our table. My wife opted for the scallops for starter and I chose mussels. My wife is still enthusing about them, two weeks later.... More

Wonderful fresh meal with phenomenal service! Presentation was beautiful, taste combinations were amazing and nice touch with the owner/chef coming to each table to ensure you are having a great experience. Small, intimate venue so be sure to book a table in advance. Certainly will go back anytime we visit Oban. Thank you :-)

professional reservation, personalised service, This is a really special family run restaurant. Great service, great food. We had the mussels as a starter to share - it was a big portion - delicious with a hint of chilly. I had the half lobster and my partner had the sole - both very taste full and fresh. Do not leave without... More

Make an advance reservation. They have seating times and the place is very intimate but can accommodate groups, we had 10 in our group. The food is beautifully presented and there was not one complaint from our group all the way from appetizers to dessert. A nice wine selection tops this meal off. This is an experience, not a meal.

Came here on a recommendation for my fiancé's birthday and v glad we did. Beautiful location and views, lovely little building, very good service and excellent food. Best oysters I've tasted. Highly recommended if you like good seafood.
