The DiCiacca family have been running successful restaurants in Oban for 3 generations. Onorio and Elvira first came to Oban from Picinisco, Italy in 1959 to open their first chip shop. The Family's dedication to their customers and delicious recipes with big Italian flavours, have kept the Locals and the Visitors to Oban full and happy for generations. It was grey and drizzly yesterday but the visit to Oban was made sunny by our 3rd visit to this restaurant. Dont expect much from the decor but the fish- large even if you order" regular" ,was freshly cooked as were the chips the service...More

Excellent food, took a minute to get started, but well worth it. Enjoyed the chips, perfectly done. The rest of the meal too, was excellent.

When in Scotland you have to have something different and the Haggis Burger And Chips were truly De-Lish. Little waiting time for our meal and the take away box was filled to maximum. A truly special Scottish take away and had we been in Oban...More

On a day trip to Oban we popped in for a fish tea and it was lovely, the batter on the fish was nice and crispy. Also staff really nice. Price wise very reasonable. Will go back next time in Oban.
