A second trip to this place and was as good as the first visit. I had the fish and chips but eyes were bigger than belly as I wanted onion rings too! 100% worth a visit! Staff are so friendly which makes the experience. They serve every table so efficiently and treat us all the same as if we are... More

Well worth a visit. Really good food. Pleasant helpful staff. Restaurant overlooks the harbour watching the ferries go in and out.

Very accommodating when we arrived with no booking. Service was great - really fast, staff were friendly & attentive, without being overbearing. Food arrived quickly & was delicious. Amazing value for money. Can't wait to go back!

Had haddock and chips here. Was good but batter was a bit thick which meant was slightly chewy prefer a good crunch. Fish was really fresh and the chips were good but could have been a bit crispier. They did however cook everything to order which is worth the wait.

We've been here a few times and every meal has been lovely and service very friendly very helpful. In case it isn't obvious, the fish and chips is delish!

We dropped in today for lunch and both selected the "small" fish supper which included a drink for £6. I have to say this was probably the nicest fish supper I have ever had. It was delicious, We both thought this. The food was piping hot, fish, chips and mushy peas. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. The restaurant... More

Happy faces welcome you. The room is plain and clean. Fish dishes are tasty (avoid calamari) and pies even better. Very efficient and friendly service. Since they don't serve alcohol we have been given instructions to buy wine and beer from nearby store and consume in the restaurant at no cost.

We came here on our first night in Oban and had a lovely meal. I can't say much about the atmosphere as we had been travelling from Essex all day and had an early dinner, 5pm, and there was no one else there inside. The food was nice, the staff friendly and would good back again.

We were staying in Oban and desperate for food. This was our first choice and proved to be a good one. Managed to get a table near the front so that we could see the ferry come in. Plenty to suit us on the menu and we opted for fish and chips. Our meal was excellent and we were pleased... More

The DiCiacca family have been running successful restaurants in Oban for 3 generations. Onorio and Elvira first came to Oban from Picinisco, Italy in 1959 to open their first chip shop. The Family's dedication to their customers and delicious recipes with big Italian flavours, have kept the Locals and the Visitors to Oban full and happy for generations. Renato and son Antonio, continue this long line of culinary tradition with the Oban Fish Bar & Restaurant and Nories Fish & Chip shop, which is just a little further along on George Street in Oban. Being in The Seafood Capital of Scotland, The Oban Fish Bar & Restaurant offers a wide choice of Fish and Seafood to tantalise your taste buds, but for the non fish eaters amongst you, enjoy the hand cut chips, try the delicious homemade Italian dishes or give the Gourmet Burgers from the local butcher a go. Maybe you're looking for authentic handmade Stone Baked Italian Pizza's? We've got that covered as well. Renato also likes to keep up with the latest developments which means we now also offer Gluten Free batter so everyone can enjoy the DiCiacca Family's delicious dishes.
