Had a meal and a few drinks here with my wife and really enjoyed it. Plenty of choice both in drinks and food and all reasonably priced. Food was good when it arrived and well presented, tasty and good portion size, would recommend if your...looking casual dinning and good old fashioned grub.More

Great pub, decent beers, good pub grub. We had popped in to watch Hibs Motherwell on TV on a Sunday afternoon. Initially we had planned to have a few pints, watch Hibs win and then go out for dinner elsewhere. We ended up staying until...closing and eat dinner, which was great value. Would not hesitate in going back. Nice staff, good beers and decent pub grub.More

Friendly staff with food at low prices. If you're after reasonably priced food, an Irish bar atmosphere with drinks flowing this'll be for you.

We went for a family dinner. Pleasant staff, we were told as it was busy, it would take 30 min for food. This was fine as the waiting staff brought us drinks and were very attentive. The starters arrived and they were amazing. Highly recommend...the chicken wings. We thought we were in for a great dinner. We were recommended to try the mac & cheese. Which we did. We are a party of 5 so we ordered 3 steak pies and 2 mac & cheese. By far the worst mac & cheese I have ever tasted. Bland, tasteless and no hint of cheese. I asked for the bill and told the waitress about my thoughts on the mac & cheese. They deducted the cost from bill and said sorry.More

Having booked a table in advance stating we were attending for both food and then the live music that night and told this was not problem, even being advised of the best time to book, we were then seated in a table in the corner...in 'the snug' which made you feel completely seperate from the bar itself and would not have allowed you to see the band at all. After sitting for 20 minutes waiting to be served even drinks, we asked it there was an option to move, even in the small area we were in which now had an empty tale for 4+2 which had also been lying uncleared for the last 20 mins to be told it was what we had or nothing before the girl turned her back and walked away. 5 mins later still no service so we left without any staff even noticing. Absolutely terrible service, if they cannot cater for both a live event and dining guests then they shouldn't be booking people in for dinner. Had attended the night before for drinks when they weren't busy and staff could not have been more attentive. Would not return or recommendMore

What a find! Suggested by our lovely airb+b host, parked right outside, fast, friendly service ordered the Salt & Chilli sharing platter for both of us as we weren’t too hungry and at £16 thought it would be an ok amount - it was huge!...And very tasty. Again friendly staff checking everything was ok. Brilliant. Would definitely recommend 10/10 & will be calling in again when we’re next in ObanMore

Booked in advance and had table inside this busy, traditional local pub with a lot of atmosphere. Food was really decent and staff friendly and helpful. Only little gripe was that we were constantly asked if were ok for drinks which made us feel slightly...as if we better make way for others as it was very busy and we maybe not drinking fast enough! But all in all very enjoyableMore
