We had fun visiting this pub! The staff was polite and very helpful with us! If I ever come again to Oban, I’ll make sure to drink a few beers again there!

We were really disappointed! .. burger overcooked and dry ..prawn skewers were cold, rubbery and bland.. standard of food no where near as good as previous 2 visits which makes me think new chef...sadly we wont be returning

We were given a recommendation to go here for dinner. Our expectations were exceeded. A fun and friendly spot, not only the staff, but the other guests as well, including the four legged ones. The food was outstanding.i had the Wednesday night steak special, and...my husband had the Guinness steak pie. Dave,and the rest of the staff went above and beyond to make our visit memorable. Best chickenwings in years, salt and chilly wings. Friendly service, good atmosphere and lovely food. There is a nice mix of local people and tourists.

The chef Graeme Carter cooked up a feast of dishes for us, everything was cooked to perfection, the crispy beef noodles were delicious, flavoursome, yet light, (hopefully will become part of the menu), we had everything from chicken wings, to beefburgers and seafood, all meticulously...prepared to provide us with Mouthwatering meals. Special mention to our waitress Courtney who went above and beyond to ensure we all had a great time and was very attentive to our every need. Cannot wait to return and sample more dishes from the menu 😋 😉More

My husband and I had made reservations ahead of time due to recommendations. We had dinner here. I ordered the fish and chips and he had a burger. The service was good. My fish and chips were good.

We visited this establishment on 3/09/23, we made a booking for 5 people and specifically asked for the Sunday dinner, they took the booking, when we arrived there we were told, no Sunday dinner, no Asian slaw, nachos, chicken wraps and meatballs. One waiter said...they had a late delivery …….on a Sunday?! One waiter blamed Oban pride for eating everything! We ordered from the few things available on the menu and didn’t enjoy it at all, and the chips were so hard they cut your mouth. Take my advice avoid this place !!More

Really enjoyed our visit here, pub has a great atmosphere, friendly staff and good service. Clearly a local favorite as pretty busy for a tuesday night. Had the homemade chicken tacos, they where superb! Will definetly go here again.

Ordered food (Mac&cheese) was cold & stodgy. Returned it, no offer of a refund brought out a freshly made one (should've had that in the first place!) when I clearly said I didn't want it. Also...if you're a female be careful in this place late...at night. Don't expect the bald bouncer or the one with glasses to protect youMore

They must be living on past reputation or the kitchen had a bad night. The fish was soggy in the middle, the peas were under cooked, the tartar sauce was puee mayonnaise, and the cole slaw was swimming in Mayo, more like soup than slaw....We had better fish and chips all over Scotland.More
