4 family members dined here on Christmas day. everything from start to finish was excellent, the food quality and selection, drinks, atmosphere and service were second to none. The staff knew my daughter was going to be too late for Christmas dinner due to working at the hospital and we were advised she would be welcome to join us for... More

Six of us had lunch here early in December, all of us praising pubs new interior. Mac-cheese, steak pie, tomato soup, chicken Caesar, very good food, friendly service and affordable prices.

Just popped in for something quick and we were so impressed. Lovely burgers all prepared and made with craft produce sorced throughout Scotland. Cooked to perfection and served by pleasant welcoming staff. Well done alll.

We popped in for lunch whilst in Dumfries shopping. There were 4 of us. The place has been renovated since I was last in & looks great. We had high hopes. Unfortunately the food wasn't great & very bland & tasteless. Hoping it was an off day as reviews would suggest it is usually quite good.

I arrived with my partner for a meal. I asked for a blue grilled Steak . I was given a medium. The waiter took it and replaced it with a cold slab of meat slightly seared on each side. My partners lasagne was bland and tasteless. Stay well clear of this establishment.

Came across this pub while visiting Dumfries.glad we did.a great decorated pub looks like recently refurbished to a high standard.good reasonably priced pub food.a number of offers available throughout the day.the staff friendly.only negative i could find was the service a little on the slow side even though the pub wasn't particularly busy. Would consider definitely calling here again
