I have visited Mulberries for many years although I'm not a regular. At my last visit the espresso I ordered was a either a poor imitation or their machine isn't working properly. I love coffee so was a bit suspicious when there was no crema or any other signs normally associated with espresso. What it tasted like was a small... More

We were ready for our lunch when we got here and went for the homemade quiche with chips and salad. It was lovely. I usually have to give my husband the onion off my salad as it is cut so thick, but this was sliced beautifully finely so I got to enjoy it. Service was quick and pleasant. We even... More

Like Mulberries because they deliver what one would expect with quick friendly service at acceptable price. Not a lot of seating but it works well and service is faster than other Kirkcudbright cafes

Chose to visit Mulberries based on other Trip Advisor reviews. Unfortunately it didn't live up to the other reviews. We walked passed and it looked very busy so we thought we would have a walk around Kirkcudbright for and then come back. When we returned, the place looked a lot quieter so we decided to call in. We seated ourselves... More

We had a glorious tea with two grandparents, two children and a grandchild. Lemon cake, short bread, and the sipping chocolate? Seriously. You need to have the sipping chocolate. It is basically melted chocolate. Wow. Just wow.

Lovely little cafe/restaurant. Warm, welcoming & friendly! We visited with 5 children & 3 adults. We where seated & orders taken quickly. They had colouring books & activities for the children. Food was tasty. Coffees where refilled at the tables & the service was excellent. We visited again later in the week for take out and it was just as... More

we had a lovely lunch here, lady was very attentive and friendly, the café isn't the biggest but nice and fresh and clean. We had the baked potatoes and they certainly did not scrimp, plenty on the plate, lovely baked potato and fresh side salad, and the price was excellent. Will certainly call in again when we come back there.

Having just completed the St Mary's Isle walk we decided to stay in Kirkcudbrightshire for some lunch. Not being able to find a dog friendly venue we decided to leave our dog in the car and went to Mulberries. The menu was good and as we were eating later decided to share a haggis melt and bowl of wedges. We... More

Good food with parking right outside. Close to the harbour. It's a busy and very popular cafe with locals as well as visitors so you may have to wait a bit to be served but good to sit and people-watch. Good choice of food too
