Waited ages after being seated to have our order taken. Food came an hour after arrival and waitress disappeared to look for cutlery before we could start eating. We didn't get the jug of tap water we requested either. However the food was brilliant and thoroughly made up for the underwhelming service. I'd highly recommend the tandoori chicken which was... I had chicken on a bagette with a burnt orange sauce and a beautiful salad. Very good service. The price is perhaps a little bit more expensive than pubs but the variety on the menu made up for this. We did not have a cake but they looked delicious

Visited with the other half. We were seated by one waitress, then one of the grumpier waitresses started loudly asking who sat us there. when we asked if there was an issue, she dismissively said no and stormed away. We ordered, but felt very uncomfortable, especially when tables around us were receiving nice comments and us rudely ignored. I have... More

We were here for a snack and enjoyed the ambience and the view over the Tay. Light lunches are served and afternoon teas. It was difficult to find but worth the effort. The adjoining shop with local produce is excellent if pricey with lovely lemonades and unusual Vegetables. The market garden is also good and has beautifully presented plants and... More

Best to book first. Was given a voucher for afternoon tea. Was not disappointed. Spent a delightful couple of hours. The tea was very tasty and staff boxed up what we couldn't eat to take home.

We went for lunch on a sat . Very busy and noisy . I had soup and a sandwich . Soup spicy which was not in description and salad with sandwich was soaking in dressing . My husband had sandwich which he described as nothing special . Add 2 coffees and that was £22 . Expensive for what it was... More

To start off trip advisor and Facebook directions both took us to the wrong location! So we had to hunt about to find it. On arrival Jessie's kitchen is lovely. The decor is spot on for the style of the house it situated in. A wee garden centre also with bits to buy. We hadn't booked but were advised that... More

Visited here for a mid afternoon coffee and snack as a family. Luckily there was space so we were seated fairly quickly. The room we were in was obviously the kids room and it suited our little one down to the ground. The waitress was great and very friendly. We went for a coffee and milkshake and a slice of... More

I wasnt that impressed.. Hadn't been before so walked in and walked towards a table with my toddler and was accosted abruptly by a waitress who basically told me off for not knowing this wasn't procedure and was ushered back into the waiting area.. Told there would b a wait as a few larger tables were reserved.. It was 1.20... More

Having heard numerous recommendations from friends, and, on arrival, thinking it would indeed be the perfect place for a lovely lunch with a friend, my daughter and young baby, imagine my surprise to feel effectively booted out in a most unwelcome fashion. It all started so well. My 3 year old immediately spotted the pink painted chairs through the window... More
