Lovely small restaurant with a big character inside! Meal was lovely and I love that you can see the food being cooked in front of you. Staff all very friendly and we were lucky enough to walk in without booking but it soon filled up.

Had a family meal here mid-week and hadnt been here for a while. Had lost none of its quaint charm or awesome food. Portions are generous to say the least. Always treated well here and while not cheap, offers total value for money.

Had my first ever meal at Agacan after years of hearing wonderful things about it and it was fantastic. The place is TINY and the menu isn't huge but everything on it is freshly made in the smallest kitchen I have ever seen and the food is outstanding. Portions are very generous and the waiting staff are friendly and informative.... More

We shared the sliced veg started with different sauces and pitta.... cooked perfectly and a perfect starter to share! I then had th Agacan chicken special and my friend the lamb cutlets. Both were out of this world! Not the cheapest but worth every penny. The atmosphere is buzzy but laidback and without any airs and graces but overall the... More

The Agacan is something of a Dundee institution, being a permanent fixture on the Perth Road for more years than I would care to remember. A small, intimate venue, well-decorated with plentiful artwork inside, and some rather interesting carvings on the exterior. Service is friendly and efficient, with explanations and recommendations given upon request. I asked for a slight amendment... More

Loads of friends rate the agacan, and I'd never been, so when - after a few drinks in the west end on a Sunday evening - my wife and I were looking for some food, we thought 'well, we need to go some time...'. Friendly service, fun atmosphere in the place, small but comfortable enough. Forgetting about the price, the... More
