I really should have left more reviews for this place. We went this evening and had yet another cracking meal. Staff are great, food is great. Even when my son is reluctant to leave behind a tiny piece of pizza he made himself, noone bats...an eye. Tonight they made him a tinfoil Loch Ness Monster. The Weston offers amazing value for money, but most importantly, really great food!More

Went to the Weston for a few beers and decided to take home a couple of takeaway meals. The service in the pub was excellent and the quality of the meals was superb. We really enjoyed the bar atmosphere and the meals. Well worth a...visit.More

We have been wanting to try this place for a while, so when we seen it on itison.com we thought we should give it a go and were glad we did. The food was lovely and certainly not your average portion sizes. We got homemade...nachos and chicken tempura to start and then cajun chicken crepes for mains and we were stuffed, we weren't sure if we could fit dessert in but we thought we would try as the dessert menu looked so good. We weren't expecting anything big but our ice cream sundaes were massive and very delicious. We definitely will be back and highly recommend you give it ago!More

We went in here about 4pm on a Wednesday. It is a small cosy comfortable restaurant with helpful friendly staff. The food is the best absolute top quality. I had pan fried chicken with mash veg and cheese. It looked good and tasted even better...If you are in the area eat here you will not regret it.More

We recently moved to the area and have been searching for a new local. The Weston tavern did not disappoint. If you want a friendly, cosy pub with amazing food this is your place. We also brought our 16 week old puppy along, she had...her own menu and was welcomed by all ❤️❤️ so nice and such a nice touch. I am also ceoliac and most of the menu can be adapted to gluten free. So so impressed and we cannot wait to come back!More

We received a warm welcome on our first visit to the Weston Tavern. The menu offered a great selection for every course. The portions were very generous & everything was cooked to perfection. Braised steak & Yorkshire pudding was beyond delicious! Cannot recommend the Weston...highly enough on every level, the best establishment for miles around! Will be returning again soon.More

This is a fun and friendly pub. We got a warm welcome and great food. Portions were huge and the desserts and cocktails were quite something. Arrive hungry!

Had a brilliant lunch and was great value for money, struggled to eat everything as portion of king prawn was more than ample. Highly recommended

4 of us went for breakfast. The Lady who served us was really friendly and couldn't have been more helpful even though it was her first day and she was getting used to the ordering system. It was a nice set up in tasteful surroundings....The food was of varying quality very poorly cooked. 3 of us had "Weston Big Yin" breakfasts. The sliced sausage had been cooked solid, the link was OK, the bacon was dry and undercooked, the poached egg was liquid and inedible. The mushrooms were covered in salt and far too much pepper. The "chef" forgot to put the black pudding and haggis on the plate but unfortunately they were brought after the rest of the food was served. They were soaking with oil and tasted cheap. The potato scone wasn't much better and was also greasy. This has put us off going back. If I had to end on a positive note then the bill was brought in a dinky boxMore
