The restaurant has had a refurb which has increased the seating but not by much, so best to book. The fireplace has gone as has the draughty window fan. The menu has changed and offers something a little different. The midweek menu gives a two course for £11 and £14 for the three. I am not sure substituting the potatoes... More

It's unusual these days to find a nice place to eat that has good tasty food on the menu and not overcharge. The Weston tavern is that place! food lovely and a warm welcoming atmosphere and you certainly feel satisfied when you leave.

Warm greeting when we entered. Offered to take our coats and hang them up and asked if we wanted drinks. The four of us had Sunday Roast which was very good. Very well kept interior. Will return.

Had an excellent Sunday lunch here. Loads of great looking meals on the menu at really reasonable prices, with most of our party opting for the set Sunday Roast three course menu. Kids were well catered for and the portions were good, the only minor grumble was the lack of any veg with them.

The restaurant has undergone a major refurbishment and while the original decor was fine the upgrade makes it even more comfortable. The menu has been overhauled too and the daily specials are very tempting. Overall, the ambiance, food and staff now make this one of the best in Ayrshire!

When we arrived at the restaurant we had a zimmer frame and a guide dog. The staff seated us without fuss, taking away the zimmer frame and our coats, to be returned on completion of our meal. Our guide dog was even offered a bowl of water. We had the 2 course fixed lunch time menu. A 3 course fixed... More

Visited this place whilst passing.....looks rather unassuming on the outside! Don't be fooled, the food was excellent. Homemade Soup, goats cheese salad and Sticky Toffee Pudding....all excellent. I like my food and this I can't fault Highly recommended Enjoy!
