I have been here a few times with friends for a bit to eat and some drink. There is a nice basement bar underneath the restaurant. The food is good and I always find the service great, it's just a shame where the restaurant is...More

Initially chosen as a bar venue to meet up with friends, this turned out to be a great place to also get some vegan and vegetarian food (although they do serve meat dishes too) and it was very good. A variety of different areas of...More

We popped here for a drink whilst waiting for a table at a nearby restaurant, what a quirky lovely little bar, reasonable prices, funky decor and a fab espresso martini. We would definitely pop back in again.

Came here with some friends on a weekend trip to Edinburgh. It’s a short walk from the main centre and there was plenty of space (2pm Saturday). The vegan jackfruit burger was a good size and tasted great (a nice break from a bean or...More

Fantastic dining experience! I was so famished when I arrived here and I finished everything! The food menu was interesting fusion of different cuisine (ingredients and flavors). It was surprisingly great. Good friendly staff. Ambience is just highlighted with its cozy and quirky interiors!

We came across Daylight Robbery completely by incident. We were going somewhere else but had not liked the prices. We were lucky. Lovely atmosphere, friendly service and freshly cooked food. Family friendly too.

I really loved this cafe! We were the first ones in the door for the afternoon and already the atmosphere was great, with good tunes and friendly staff to greet us. We chose the booth in the corner to get cosy in, and we were...More

I ate here twice last week - the second time because I wanted to try the fish and chips which I'd seen on someone else's plate! The first time I had pork meatballs in red Thai curry sauce with (wild?) rice and it was very...More

Broughton & Calton
Lying where grandiose New Town townhouses give way to
