Visited last week for an evening meal. Had the 3 mezes each which were reasonably priced but the food was tasteless. We had the cacic, hummus, vegetable mossaka, lamb mossaka, filo and spinach pastry( can't recall the name of the dish) and a chicken dish....More

I went here with two of my friends. Lovely atmosphere, very friendly staff and great value for money! Definitely worth a trip. Plenty of gluten free options and safe for coeliacs!

Very atmospheric little restaurant for Turkish meze, very friendly staff, good choice of meze and reasonable prices. Can take your own alcohol or have free water. It was cosy, romantic and would definatly recommend. We shared 5 meze, which was great for a light diner,...More

This would have been 56 stars if they had ayran on the menu. Delightful food in a plce that deserves to be full every night. Sadly we were the only ones there on a Sunday night. The food is excellent, decor perfect, price reasonable!

To us a mezze is a number of small courses served one after the other over which you can spend some time. We ordered and were presented with a plate each of lukewarm food with a small portion of each thing mentioned in the menu...More

Whilst the ambience was lovely, and the service good, our food (the hot mezze) arrived very quickly and the food was lukewarm/cold. To their credit, they did offer a replacement meal.

Beautiful decor, very atmospheric. Choice of mezze, vegerarian, vegan or meat based. Limited selection of beer and wine. Mezze were excellent and not expensive -£ 12.99 for vegan/ vegetatian mezze, £13.99 for meat based version I think. N.B. Thet only take cash or cheques, no...More

Old Town
Few Edinburghers live in the Old Town, but its

this was not always the case. Today, it’s mostly

that you’ll find on its cobbled streets. This is the
place to get a feel for Auld Reekie (Old Smelly), as
the town was once nicknamed, and stroll the Royal
