I stopped here for lunch because it was located close to my hotel on the Royal Mile, and I quite like Indian cuisine. This was not the best Indian meal I had in Scotland, but it wasn't bad. I felt that the Chicken Tikka Masala...More

Should have known by seeing all empty seats at 8.30pm that the meal would be poor. Ordered the food and it was far too hot for my husband bit they was willing to change it , however , it was a completely different curry that...More

Needed a bite to eat for lunch and spotted this cosy little Indian restaurant on the Royal Mile. Decided to opt for the lunchtime deal where you get a main course with rice plus a side for a set amount. Food was tasty and the...More

Should have known when we walked into an empty restaurant at 630pm, when the Fringe and the Tattoo were both on, that the experience wouldn't be good. The food is fairly tasteless (I had chana aloo which was at least 95% potato), the service is...More

Stay away! This was the only empty place out of the otherwise packed eating places in the Royal Mile area of Edinburgh. Did not take long to know why. The "polite" reception on entry to the seven of us was that we would HAVE to...More

Overpriced, tasteless, underwhelming, very poor service. Ordered a bottle of merlot, got red Sauvignon (apparently the same thing) from then on it started to go down hill.

So, I don't leave many reviews unless I have a strong opinion on a place. This place has pretty much nothing good about it. Bad service, the waiter pretty much threw the cutlery at us, which turned out to be dirty. We ordered chicken pakora...More

Old Town
Few Edinburghers live in the Old Town, but its
labyrinth of dank alleys and steep streets suggests
this was not always the case. Today, it’s mostly
visitors, tartan-flavoured souvenir shops, and pipers
that you’ll find on its cobbled streets. This is the
place to get a feel for Auld Reekie (Old Smelly), as
the town was once nicknamed, and stroll the Royal
Mile, the thoroughfare that links the castle with the

I've noticed that there are quite a few fake reviews for this restaurant. They are easy to spot. The terminology and grammar are bad and similar in each review. I don't know how they get away with it. I have reported it... More
